I had a pretty nice stash of great comics as a kid but they're all gone now. No idea what happened to them.

My mom also bought a few boxes of sports cards for us to save unopened when I was a kid, but those also disappeared.

Its perfect they have all been stashed away pretty much since i bought them back then.
I also have crazy amounts of old baseball cards and old video games(new unopened games) from when i was a game dealer. I just never have looked into how much the stuff is worth. It actually gives me anxiety now that i know. I guess one day i may look into the stuff. Probably when i need the money.

What I took from all that is: you don't need the money. It's a comforting thought any time you can say that sincerely.

I'm sorry but the first movie is a feat of amazing proportions. It was dark and awesome with cool setting and art direction, filmed like a serious movie and it's soundtrack was AMAZINGLY corny to be put with that dark backdrop. I mean come on Sam Rockwell is in it as a little thug, that's amazing.

I still watch the first one to this day and it was the only movie poster I've ever had on my wall, I loved that movie more than any other as a kid. Multiple viewings over the years haven't disappointed me or spoiled me on it unlike nearly every movie including Return of the Jedi and Indiana Jones Temple of Doom. April quietly monologuing while she draws these awesome pictures of the Turtles, it's incredible what comic book movie has the balls to do that?

The suits make that movie for me though, they work sooo freaking well. It's just the best, everything about it makes me love it.

But more importantly thanks to all of you for being as disappointed as I am in Michael Bay for taking the dream of a new, awesome TMNT series and crushing it like a dung beetle.

When I heard they were remaking it, it took me back to that elementary school playground where someone told me they were going to release a TMNT movie with live-action turtles. I was in disbelief, but then I could not wait. It was the most excited I'd ever been for a movie.

The possibility of reliving that excitement for a new TMNT was, as @newtboy put it, raped from my soul when I heard Michael Bay was at the helm. This trailer confirmed my worst fears.

I hope for all voting to cease so this pile of turd can sit on on the sift with exactly -17 votes as a testament to what transpired here.

It's incredible how generic that trailer is. If you edit out the split seconds showing the turtles, you could re-purpose it for about any action movie. You could turn it into a trailer for Transformers, Bad Boys, or Robocop, or Batman...
