For anyone playing along at home, I would use plastic instead of a metal implement. The "toothpick" from your swiss army knife is usually pretty flat and great for loosening/scooping crud from the charging port. The plastic is better to avoid scratching all of that metal, not to mention no risk of short circuiting the charging contacts!?

Yeah, those phones were pretty gross. I'm still rocking an iPhone 8 and I only had to clean out some packed pocket lint once. Of course, I don't wear makeup.

Other sources like Wikipedia say ~6 octaves. This particular performance looks like lip-sync, especially in the finale where his throat doesn't appear to be doing any vibrato. Still, apparently he's an extremely skilled musician and singer, so at least it's not fraudulent.

The sound is always all foley for videos like this, but usually really well done. The most technical part in my book is flying backwards, that's totally blind (unless perhaps a 360 camera was used, but I don't get that sense).

There's a lot of internet traffic that claims this was essentially "faked" by the department. His controlled fall, some lack of urgency by the trainer, good color/not suffocating... Also a lot of "this is not how fentanyl works" from medical professionals.

What is with these weird generated news stories using text-to-speech? It feels icky taking them at face value. The images could be total bunk since there are no attributions or anything.

I'm not suggesting the drought is fake, I'm just saying this is one of the worst sources that can be posted.

It takes about 20 seconds to erase the board and write the new time. So about 33% of the time, you can't read it. Obviously, it's not meant to be practical, but that's still funny.

In an enclosed space like a compact laptop (MacBook Air) you don't need the fan anywhere near the heatsink. Think about a long tube; you can put the fan anywhere in it and the total airflow will be about the same. I'm a bit surprised someone experienced with laptops doesn't know this?

It seems more like he just wanted to rail against Apple products. I've been there, but my rant is usually about the quality control of their hardware.
