Arvana gets his crown; wants peace, love, and understanding

We have another crown in our midst, siftizens, and it's none other than Monsieur Arvana. By now everyone who's been here for more than a few months knows his name. He's the dude who routinely brings us some of the most interesting and most entertaining videos the net has to offer. That arvana. (You know, the one who reminds you of Jeff Bridges. Or maybe it's just me. Hey, I still remember his long-haired look, and even then he reminded me of Lebowski. Sort of. Or Patrick Swayze. Just ask rottenseed. Except he's alive. Arvana, that is.)

Okay, so where was I? Oh yeah, arvana just got a thousand stars, so I whipped up this half-assed shopped photo of him. Blame it on Monsieur John Daniels for its amateurish....ness. And my lack of shopping skills. But give it up for arvana while you're at it. He deserves it.

Thanks Endall, I did not know that Arvana is a village in Azerbaijan.  I did know that it is a breed of dromedary, and I'm proud to report that it is the #1 milk producer of all the dromedaries!

As far as *quality sifting goes, you have been a real role model for a long time, arvana. Anyone that does a 40+ per video is doing an awesome job, but you've sifted more than a 1000! And the really exceptional thing is that as far as I've noticed your videos aren't just re-linked from other aggregator sites (at least not the ones I visit), they're usually unique finds on their own - and not the "easy" ones either (politics/atheism). Which is absolutely awesome. I salute thee, O Natural King of The Sift!

Thank you so much for one of the best vids ever - the Boston cover one-man-band song. My kids routinely ask to hear it at least a couple times a week!

You've got some super sifting instincts Arvana and when I see one of yours I imagine it must be good. If you look at Arvana's profile it looks like an extended conversation with Siftbot who's in a permanent state of congratulations.

Oh yeah, Aravana has always been a king in my book. I think I actually commented early on that "you must be an interesting guy, because you post such interesting videos." Arvana is one of the only, perhaps the only, member who Sifts with actual grace. I like imagine that he's as quietly centered IRL, and that's something I aspire to. Many thanks for all you've given us, Dude. Congratulations!

Arvana was the member who really got me hooked on working my way up the rankings, when he invited me to join his WhoseLine playlist. That simple action really drew me into participating in this site as a member, rather than just browsing & occasionally voting on videos of people getting hit in the groin by a football.

Congrats Arvana - there are few more dedicated to this community than you are.

Major congrats, arvana. You've wowed us all! Your videos are such high quality that you've remained a 500 diamond all this time and yet still you've managed to make it to position 3 of the all time Sifters. Your videos are a joy to watch, and you seem like such a genuine guy.

Mucho congratulations! You bring a great deal to the sift and your videos are always stand-outs on the sift. I think you also have the handsome-est avatar on the sift, in a Hugh Jackman, Sir Les Patterson, pre crazy Gibson kinda way! Great job
