JiggaJonsonsays...LOADED with rubber. But he ran down the rest. *quality

moonsammysays...What an embarrassing buffoon.
wtfcaniusesays...He clearly doesn't know what the word run means
BSRsays...Well, he did run for president down an escalator, so yeah.
He clearly doesn't know what the word run means
StukaFoxsays...I thought Trump's rambling explanation of why he couldn't manage a slight incline was a Deep Fake or something. Then I realized no -- he's actually using his mouth to make the words I'm hearing. Then I realized that his BRAIN was making his mouth make the words I was hearing. Then I had that feeling like I did when the second plane hit on 9/11. Finally, I realized that next year at this time, I'll be in Lyon and giving zero fucks about what happens to this country. Then I smiled happily and enjoyed the rest of the trainwreck.
bobknight33says...Finger Banging JOE 2020.
newtboysays...Daughter Raping Donny, aka the syphilitic mushroom tip, never again.
Remember, when asked what he had in common with his teenaged daughter his answer was "sex".
Lol...so sad Bobby. So stupid and sad. Trump openly brags about forcibly finger banging any stranger he finds attractive, and has >25 sexual abuse cases pending including multiple rapes, groping, fingering, kissing, untold numbers of payoffs and NDAs, etc. You are not doing him any favors comparing his record of rampant sexual abuse and philandering for 4+ decades to Joe who has one untrustworthy accuser with one totally unbelievable and constantly changing story of being sexually abused in the public halls of congress that never came up before in nearly 30 years of his campaigns, not behind closed doors in the last decade with corroboration and physical evidence like many Trump accusers. So unbelievably dumb. If you had the capacity, you would be ashamed of yourself.

wtfcaniusesays...Trump has done a great job of clearing a fire break around America over the last few years (maybe he's been raking the forest floors?). Even close allies of over 80yrs have already distanced themselves from the dumpster fire.
Burning buildings risk igniting those near them. America's a big building: there are a lot of buildings near it.
wtfcaniusesays...Given Trump supporters had/have no issue with "grab em by the pussy" I'm struggling to tell if this is an insult or support.

Janussays...While I can't stand Trump, I have to wonder how well Biden would do now. He at least seemed to still be in possession of all (or most) of his faculties back in 2016. Both Biden and Trump seem to be having serious lapses over the past few months, at least. Seemingly worse for Biden, actually, though that might just be down to heavy use of stimulants on Trump's part.
The fact that these two candidates are our presumptive options for president is a dumpster fire.
harlequinnsays...It's an 11 degree ramp, not 3, which is over 2 times the gradient allowed (as per the ADA). And the ADA requires ramps of this sort to have handrails.
Where's the comparison video? I.e., Biden coming down the ramp.
bcglorfsays...Such is our dilemma, that I can't tell if that is sarcasm on your part or not. Obviously, this video is meant to be satire/comedy and not factual analysis. At the same time, I can 100% expect Trump, if he ever sees the clip, to respond exactly as your comment did. In fact, the video itself is him inarticulately attempting to do exactly that.

harlequinnsays...Part 1: the video portrays mocking. If they're going to mock someone, they should at least get their numbers right, otherwise they're no better than Trump and his continual exaggerations (e.g. it's like them saying "and it was the least steepest ramp in the world, and I've walked all the ramps of the world, more than anyone else").
Part 2: if they're trying to be funny by comparing two things then you have to, you know, compare the two things. So where is the video of Biden coming down the ramp? I want to see Biden cartwheel down the ramp like a champ.
Part 3: "I can 100% expect Trump, if he ever sees the clip, to respond exactly as your comment did", except for the fact that Trump already described this event (walking down the ramp) in this video. So you better check your 100%.
BTW, there is no dilemma - no sarcasm was implied or could be interpreted from my comment, and there is a little sarcasm check box that remained unchecked (just to be sure). On the other hand, I fully expected someone to try to diminish my comment, because facts always get in the way of a good story.

Drachen_Jagersays...It's not really about the ramp. He's an old rickety man, naturally he has trouble.
The problem is that he forces doctors to lie about his health, then things like this make the truth obvious.
Then he compounds lies upon lies. His skin is so thin he just can't let it go, he rambles for 10 minutes about how unfair everything is.
Remember, this is a guy born to incredible wealth, never worked a day in his life, thinks that knowing a fucking rhinoceros from a drawing is an impressive achievement, is cruel and demeaning whenever he has a chance, treats the world, and women's genitalia as his own personal playground with few repercussions, no matter how egregiously he's broken the law, rips off investors, contractors, the very country he now pretends to serve, lost billions of dollars in personal wealth while bragging about how good he is with money, had to turn to Russian lenders because US and European banks wouldn't touch him anymore, yet somehow fell ass backwards into the presidency of the US. Now he uses that position to line his own pockets, without the slightest care for those he hurts or kills in the process.
And yet... he finds life doesn't treat him fairly. He whines and complains.
You know the only time he's seemed truly sad and upset while President?
Was it when 100,000 Americans died while he made things worse?
No.
Was it when police started ramming innocent protestors and media with their vehicles, tear gassing, beating, and maiming with rubber bullets?
No.
What about when mass shootings happened on his watch, or school shootings, like Obama?
No.
He got truly publicly upset for the first time in his presidency when a disappointing number of adoring fans came to a rally.
He is so pathetic and useless, so self-serving and evil that pain, death, suffering on a scale that really hasn't been seen in the US in a very long time means nothing.
The only thing that matters is him.
Now, what were you saying about Biden?
Do you still want to do that side-by-side comparison?
Do you really think this is about a ramp?
It's an 11 degree ramp, not 3, which is over 2 times the gradient allowed (as per the ADA). And the ADA requires ramps of this sort to have handrails.
Where's the comparison video? I.e., Biden coming down the ramp.
newtboysays...No, it's not.
Part 1: It's exactly the same gradient in both videos...probably the same exact ramp.
This is not a wheelchair ramp, which is what your ada numbers represent. If you're going to mock the video, you should at least get your ramp type right.
Part2: Where's the comparison video of Trump slowly struggling to climb this ever so steep ramp? A 3' rise in nearly 40' is not steep unless you are severely disabled. (BTW, that's about a 4.3 degree ramp, a 7.3% slope....those stripes are about 1.5' wide, and the stage floor is only two stripes up from ground level. Again, if you're going to mock the video, at least get your numbers close if not right.).
Apples to apples then, 15:20- 15:30. https://youtu.be/wY5rduEmEwk
Joe jogs, Trump barely thinks he can.
Or feel free to compare Trump's "run" at the end (the only "running" we've ever seen from him) with this then ... https://youtu.be/BY5sB7GvabY
Part3: Yes, Trump already described this event, and his description/explanation was nearly identical to yours....just like @bcglorf said. I'd say his 100% is close, Trump may have used a different arrangement of words but he said exactly the same thing.
Your implications are apparently that you think Trump is healthy, as healthy as Biden, and the media is making his poor health up. That is demonstrably false by any metric. Biden is old as fuck and my second to last choice from the Democratic field (Clinton is my last choice), but hands down Biden beats Trump in vigor, cognition, stability....just about any measure of health, mental or physical, that I've ever heard of except possibly the ability to deceive.
BTW, sarcasm could totally be interpreted from your comment. You deride the numbers given then offer your own random numbers that are exponentially farther off, and give a nonsensical excuse that this isn't a proper wheelchair ramp, how could an able bodied man possibly walk up and down it!? Many people assume nonsense like that will be taken as a joke, so refuse to use the sarcasm button.
Again, if you want to deride other people's facts, you should get yours right...it's about a 4.3 degree ramp, not 11.
It's an 11 degree ramp, not 3, which is over 2 times the gradient allowed (as per the ADA). And the ADA requires ramps of this sort to have handrails.

Setup 1: We all presumably are familiar with Trump's "sleepy Joe" nickname and constant criticism of Biden's fitness.
Setup 2: Trump explaining at great, great length why he walked slowly down a ramp because of how treacherous it was.
Punchline: Joe Biden literally running up said ramp.
That's funny. Crying about inaccuracies or fallacies in it is like saying chickens don't roam freely so how can so many be crossing roads?

The good thing about Trump is that there is so much gridlock that neither party has the ability to pass any laws. Shit just coasts along without much change.

harlequinnsays...Yes, jokes are "supposed" to be funny. If you show a video of an 11 degree ramp and say "oh its only 3 degrees" it adds nothing to your suggested punchline of the joke. In fact it detracts from it (i.e. if it is only 3 degrees then Biden running up it is meaningless).
Trump was factually correct. It was a steep ramp. There is just no way out of that. It doesn't mean he didn't look like a baby learning to walk as he walked down it, but it was still steep.
The punchline (if it were a joke, and it's not) would be Joe Biden running down the ramp. Not up. Unfortunately, for some reason, never before has the media foccused on a president walking down a ramp and it been a topic of conversation (because really, it is fucking inane). But if you hunt enough, you can find a video of Obama striding down the back ramp.

harlequinnsays...They weren't accurate on the incline though.
You can measure it on the screen if you like. A bit of trigonometry and you'll come up with a number a bit over 11 degrees.
To be fair, it's also produced by REPUBLICANS, who are not known for accuracy or honesty. Considering the source, they were surprisingly accurate, and were way closer than the @harlequinn numbers.
Trump should have blamed bone spurs.
newtboysays...They were incredibly closer than you are.
Nope, you don't get 11 degrees...well, I don't, and I did well in math classes through AP calculus and statistics.
3ft rise in 40ft run is 4.3 degrees, or a 7.5% slope. Look it up yourself....
https://www.blocklayer.com/riseruneng.aspx
It's NOWHERE NEAR 11 degrees. The stage floor would be about 8' high to be 11 degrees at that length. It's actually 3' high.
They weren't accurate on the incline though.
You can measure it on the screen if you like. A bit of trigonometry and you'll come up with a number a bit over 11 degrees.
newtboysays...Just like when you see a 4.3 degree slope and say "oh, it's a full 11 degrees, so steep" it adds nothing to your argument of the facts and makes you sound Trumpian, willing to just make up obviously incorrect numbers for no good reason. Where did you get 11 degrees anyway? OAN?
3 is much closer to correct than 11.
It was only a steep ramp for an elderly decrepit obese couch potato, not a healthy adult. I guess you didn't watch the comparison you asked for, Trump struggling his way UP the ramp.
For comparison, the ramp I built for my invalid dog is 2' rise over a 6' run, which makes an 18 degree incline. She was paralysed from the waist back and has no trouble. Even my elderly, obese, out of shape, and sickly mother in law goes up and down it with far less trouble than Trump had on this 4.3 degree ramp.
There's never been a reason to focus on a president going down a ramp and has never been one in my lifetime that had this kind of trouble, but guaranteed if Hillary had gone up or down any ramp like that during her campaign Republicans would have spent months insisting she's on her death bed.
It's funny. Perhaps you just have no sense of humor on this topic?

Calling herself a 'legislative aide' to describe 'working for senator Biden' - that's like when a 'receptionist' puts down 'customer communications liaison' on their resume.
She gets her years of employment wrong by 1 year, decades later. I can't tell you the year I started my current job. I would have to look it up. Same for every job I've had.
Having one of her supposed degrees denied by a university is certainly suspect. Which at this point could still turn out to be a database problem, or some other cock up. *Possibly*. *Possibly not*. It could also be her exaggerating her own qualifications, coming back to bite her in the ass.
In any case, at least her accusations are old and she didn't pop up out of nowhere at a suspiciously convenient time in politics.

newtboysays...Legislative aide - Coordinate and attend meetings. Assist with the drafting of speeches, press releases and legislation. Conduct and summarize legal research, research studies and constituent surveys.
Her position - mail clerk and supervising interns.
Nowhere near the same thing. Like the receptionist putting "VP of communications and publications" as their title.
91-94 is up to 4 years, she worked for him for 9 months. That's a 3.25 year exaggeration, not one, which would itself be more than doubling the truth.
Um...you think?! Yes, it's bad when your college says you didn't graduate, and a lie when you say you did. I don't think her cases would all be under review over a database problem.
Her current accusations ARE brand new, never coming to light in 30 years of Biden running for offices, including VP. They absolutely did totally pop up out of nowhere at a suspiciously convenient time in politics....and are bat shit crazy, forcefully fingered in a public alcove in the public halls of congress. Get real.
Edit: the long and short is she's not credible, at best she's shown a willingness to hyper exaggerate if it benefits her, more likely she's a bold faced liar who may have been paid to make accusations.

vilsays...The joke is what Trump says and does, not the angle of the ramp.

If a man cant open a stuck lid of a jam jar at his first attempt he must put the jar away and pretend that it doesnt exist. Also anyone who ever dares mention the jar must die.
This "man" just keeps babbling, like politicians are lately want to do. Shut the fuck up about it whiner! DO something useful just once, instead of talking yourself up unsuccesfully!
It's an 11 degree ramp, not 3, which is over 2 times the gradient allowed (as per the ADA). And the ADA requires ramps of this sort to have handrails.
Where's the comparison video? I.e., Biden coming down the ramp.
harlequinnsays...No, they weren't closer. And you can't do trig very well.
Measure on screen and it is a 240 (hypotenuse), 235, 46 right angle triangle. sin^-1(46/235)= approx. 11 degrees. (I did well for several years at university calculus - but this isn't calculus).
Here is a nice pic you can measure. You'll get about 12 degrees.
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/06/13/donald-trump-west-point-us-values-endure-turbulent-times/
Put your measurements and calcs up. It makes no sense that you are fighting this. They got it wrong. It doesn't make Trump look any less awkward walking down the ramp.
They were incredibly closer than you are.

newtboysays...240 what? Pixels slope?
235 what? Elephant ball hairs run?
46 right angle what? 46 mouse penises rise?
No it isn't calculus, it's barely trig, and fuck you, my math is spot on...and they're WAY closer.
It's measurements we disagree on....yours suck donkey balls. You claim the stage floor is 4.5' high and the ramp run only 23.5' long....neither is close to right.
I estimated rise, 3' based on the width of stripes, and run, 40' based on the length of stage segments. That's 4.3 degrees. Do you disagree with the estimation, gleaned from pictures and video of the whole stage/ramp?
You can only be saying it's a 23.5' run and 4.6' rise, that's insanely off on both counts, but granted does give you the 11degree number.
The stripes are 1.5' high, the top of the ramp floor (and stage height) is two stripes high....stage segments are at least 10' long, the ramp extends well beyond 3 segments as seen in the full descent video. If you need to nitpick, it might be 35', but 11 degrees still puts that stage floor at 6'9". It's not 1/2 that....It's 3'. 3' rise at 11degrees makes the ramp 15' approximately....also clearly not the case.
It's Trump that makes himself look awkward, and his attempted bullshit excuses are just awkward icing on his cake of awkwardness.... it was not in any way a steep ramp.
Lol. Yes, they got it wrong by about 1.3 degrees. They should commit seppuku in contrition....
But you got it around 6.7 degrees wrong, and now are still fighting about it using unassigned units of measurement on values pulled from....measuring an off center picture from breitbart of 1/3 of the ramp on a monitor?!... to do calculations, and are clearly measuring it insanely wrong, or they altered the picture, or both.
Put 40' run and 11 degrees into the calculator, you get 8' rise, 35'run gives 6'9" hight. It even gives you visual representation. Do you honestly think that stage floor is 8' up, or even 6'9"? If so, you are insane and no math, picture, argument, or fact will change your mind, because it's clearly waist high, two stripes, about 3'. If you aren't saying it's at least 6' 9" high, admit you got it wrong at least to yourself, and let's move on.
No, they weren't closer.
It doesn't make Trump look any less awkward walking down the ramp.
harlequinnsays...The length units don't matter in trig (as long as they are consistent of course). Easy to forget I guess.
My measurements versus your estimates? I'll take the measurements thanks.
A full length pic for you here.
https://wrrv.com/21-photos-direct-from-the-2020-west-point-graduation/
Rise on my screen is 14 mm (from grass to top of white curtain), run is 81 mm. 10 degrees. You can measure this yourself.
No really, put a ruler on the screen and tell me what you get. No estimates. What does a measuring device say?
240 what?
3' rise at 11degrees makes the ramp 15' approximately....also clearly not the case.

harlequinnsays...It's barely a "joke".
"You people" eh? I guess you mean Republican. I didn't vote for him bud, I'm not a citizen yet. And for the record, it's pretty clear I don't like him. But I don't suck from the Democrat teat just to oppose Trump. I'm not that naive.
FYI, he's the leader of all Americans.
Lol, you think I'm going to "shut the fuck up" because you said to. So funny. I'll do whatever "the fuck" I please thanks mate.
Do something useful? Where? In my day job? On the internet? Lol, I'm about as useful as you are on the internet.
The joke is what Trump says and does, not the angle of the ramp.
Do "you people" notice the actual content of the incoherent babble that spews from your leaders mouth?
If a man cant open a stuck lid of a jam jar at his first attempt he must put the jar away and pretend that it doesnt exist. Also anyone who ever dares mention the jar must die.
This "man" just keeps babbling, like politicians are lately want to do. Shut the fuck up about it whiner! DO something useful just once, instead of talking yourself up unsuccesfully!
Jesusismypilotsays...There are a lot of good things the left can put forth regarding Vice President Biden, his health is not one of them.
Walking on metal in dress shoes is sketchy even on flat ground.
newtboysays...Lol.
Compared to the only other choice, his health is above reproach....mental and physical health.
He's not obese, he's not addicted to adderal or speed, he doesn't have diabetes, and doesn't have dementia.
Not to mention all the character flaws the incumbent has that the challenger doesn't.
So, your excuse is Trump is so incredibly disorganized and self absorbed that he ignored the brief about exactly what he was doing and just dressed inappropriately? Sounds right. It's the same ramp they've used at least all decade, there's no excuse for not knowing about it....none whatsoever....just like there's no excuse for wearing slick leather soled shoes for an outdoor military event.
There are a lot of good things the left can put forth regarding Vice President Biden, his health is not one of them.
Walking on metal in dress shoes is sketchy even on flat ground.
newtboysays...Any math teacher I've ever had would fail you for that. The only reason to remove units is to hide how ridiculous your measurements are....but fine, let's just use ratios...you still fall flat.
Then your trig and measurements suck, because your measurements put the stage floor at a minimum of 4.5' and the ramp a maximum length of 23.5', both of which are obviously excessively wrong.
The SS at the corners of the stage are waist high to the stage floor....are they 9' tall SS? When on stage, two stripes are waist high to Trump, is he 9' tall? I guess to save Trump, you say yes.
The stage segments are at least 10' long, using Trump as a 6'+ measuring stick....is Trump now only 3.5' tall? The ramp covers 3 segments (one slightly short with a podium) then continues for 5-8' beyond the stage (more if I use your breitbart photo)....sure, it's only 23'...that makes sense. *facepalm
Measuring on a curved screen is useless....which you have proven. Measuring based on a photo is also useless unless it's a top down long distance shot, as perspective skews the image. I guess all your college math classes omitted the concept of perspective? Just for giggles, I did it anyway, and still got a slope under 7 degrees, higher than reality thanks to skewed perspective.
It's clear you must insist your measurements are perfect but our eyes lie. Very Trumpian of you, congratulations, and bye. Enjoy your perfectly healthy, not obese and demented president and your near vertical ramps that are suddenly everywhere. Don't come to my house, my ramp is nearly 3 times the slope of the one you claim is 11 degrees, it should be impossible to climb (oddly it's not).

newtboysays...Lol. It was a good joke to those of us with a sense of humor about Trump's narcissism and his inability to accept he's not "a perfect human being" (his words).
I think he means Trumpsters.
For someone who claims he doesn't like Trump, you sure bend over backwards to defend his inability to walk down a not steep ramp. It's not clear you don't like him, it is clear you strongly prefer him to Biden, but why? Please give 3 specific juxtapositions/examples.
Trump isn't even the leader of his administration. He's incapable of leadership. He holds the position of leadership but without the ability.
Um...I'm pretty sure he was talking to Trump, or do you also talk yourself up unsuccessfully, doing nothing useful, just whining? Lol.
Edit:
Hmmm...looking at your profile a question comes up....are you just another Bobknight33 sock puppet? He started one every few weeks right when your account started, timing and political position line up perfectly, and like all the others you've never posted a video. Color me suspicious. Seems like every right winger that comments here started their account within weeks of each other and you all only comment except the main account, bobby, who does post videos. Hmmmm.

Circumstantially it looks like maybe her mom called Larry King Live to ask for guidance way back in 1993 (the content of the exchange matches, as does the date, but no names were given). Could be unrelated.
Supposedly neighbors were told. Again, who knows.
If zero corroboration was good enough for Ford (Named first hand witnesses said they remember nothing of the sort), then maybe it's only fair to give Reade the same benefit of the doubt?
The double standard is quite conspicuous.
Personally, I wouldn't condemn anyone without physical measurable evidence on which to decide. Talk is cheap.

Legislative aide - Coordinate and attend meetings.
Get real.
Edit: the long and short is she's not credible, at best she's shown a willingness to hyper exaggerate if it benefits her, more likely she's a bold faced liar who may have been paid to make accusations.
scheherazadesays...Are you referring to the President?
President is the leader of the executive branch of government. The chief executive (I.e. Chief law enforcer).
He has direct command of the military, so you can call him the 'leader' of the military.
In practice, the President just has two powers : limited military command, and veto. Both of which can be legislatively overridden.
He's little more than a mascot, and in terms of national politics he's close to inconsequential. (Hence why TDS is much ado about nothing)
Your local country leadership does more to lead your life than the president.

Um....1) Ford had written contemporaneous notes about her attack.
2) Ford's FIRST HAND WITNESSES, not people she told a story years later, were mostly NOT HEARD, AND WEREN'T GOOD ENOUGH.
Yes, the double standard is quite conspicuous....but it's the Right's blatant double standard.
One likely attack with a credible professional accuser, multiple first hand witnesses unheard and contemporary evidence is ignored and denied even a full hearing, and one changing accusation of a totally unbelievable public attack in the halls of congress made by a non credible accuser with no witnesses, no evidence, and who never brought up her attack before even though her attacker has had constant elections for high office including VP twice...even when she was part of a group making other public accusations against the same man, her accusations are to be believed?!
You really have some nerve implying the double standard comes from the Left here. Such bullshit.
MAYBE she exaggerates?!? There's no MAYBE about it. Everything about her claims scream political lie from a proven liar. I can't fathom why anyone ever listened to her unbelievable story except out of desperation, needing so badly to have a Biden abuse story to counter Trump's decades long history of real abuses, both on tape and bragged about in multiple interviews like forcing his way into dressing rooms at his beauty pageants to ogle underage girls as they dress, trying hard to Fuck his friend's wives while he's married, forcibly finger banging any woman he finds attractive, all the way to multiple rape cases in court now.

When is the last time Republicans and Democrats came together to have the votes to veto the president, because it was the last time. They couldn't agree to veto him on anything, Republicans wouldn't dare cross this president, even when he commits treason in public. In practice, this president controlled two branches of government for two years (now 1 1/2) and has both of his tiny hands on the scales of the third, filling the judiciary with "activist judges" that believe the president is above the law...at least this president....I'm sure their tune will change when it's Biden.
I guess we won't hear a peep of complaint about what Biden gets done from you then, since he has no real power and is just a figurehead?
I agree, local government is where governing hits the ground, so get rid of any trumptards that weaseled their way into it in November....as well as the higher offices. Correct. I will not be complaining about Biden, I will be complaining about congress. President can't sign a law that isn't handed to him by congress.
The treason accusations are subjective. It's not like he sold out defense secrets to an enemy state. He *may* have pressured Ukraine to divulge why the investigation into Hunter Biden was dropped without explanation.
Knowing why is a good thing. I also think it's fishy that a politically connected American who doesn't speak Ukrainian and is not 'an energy man' is sitting on the board of a foreign energy company in a country we helped commit a coup in and getting paid a few million+ 50k/month.
It's not that Republicans don't dare to cross him - they infight with him all the time. They also have no alternative to him right now that doesn't involve giving up power entirely.

There's only one other named first hand witness from Ford v Kavanaugh, specifically the second accused attempted rapist, Mike Judge, the ONLY other named person in the room, also not called to testify....
https://www.vox.com/explainers/2018/9/27/17909782/brett-kavanaugh-christine-ford-supreme-court-senate-sexual-assault-testimony
It's no surprise he doesn't want to testify that he raped a girl, is it?
Another not heard was his girlfriend Elizabeth Rasor...
Mark Judge’s ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Rasor, recently spoke to the New Yorker challenging the claim that the accusation against him was out of character for either he or Judge Kavanaugh....but...
“Rasor recalled that Judge had told her ashamedly of an incident that involved him and other boys taking turns having sex with a drunk woman. Rasor said that Judge seemed to regard it as fully consensual. She said that Judge did not name others involved in the incident, and she has no knowledge that Kavanaugh participated.”

Neither did we hear the seven contemporaneous corroborating witnesses....
https://qz.com/1415990/read-letter-of-blasey-fords-witness-after-fbis-kavanaugh-probe/
Edit: I think the person you're talking about when you say "Ford's first hand witnesses, who she says were in the room, said they remember nothing happening between Ford and Kavanaugh." is Leland Ingham Keyser who didn't recall anything, not surprising because she wasn't told about the assault, wasn't on the same floor when it happened much less in the room, didn't know Kavanaugh, and to her this was just one more uneventful weekend drinking party where she didn't know most people attending in a long string of similar drinking parties, most not recalled in any detail. She didn't recall the party itself, which all parties agree happened and that she attended. Hardly a rebuttal.
I guess you don't recall the hearings, or that Republicans refused to hear witnesses, only two testimonies, Ford and Kavanaugh, with Ford examined by sharky outside lawyers brought in solely to discredit her, not examine her accusations.

newtboysays...Lol. If you honestly think that, you need serious help.
The president submits his budget to congress, they rubber stamp it mostly, then send it back for presidential approval. The president controls it more than congress, start to finish, they only make changes the president must approve.
The president has enormous discretionary spending abilities too.
I guess you forgot what Ukraine was about...the president withholding congressionally approved funds. It works the other way too, where they spend funds not approved....constantly.
The president can make presidential orders, emergency declarations, reappropriation, and other ploys to get around congressional approval for spending. Remember that wall Mexico was paying for...how did it eventually get funded, (hint, not through the congressionally approved budget. He reappropriated funds for active duty family housing)
Edit: and now we're both right, as just yesterday the 9th circuit court decided Trump declaring an emergency at the border was a farce, his own DOJ numbers proved there was no need, no emergency, no caravans a comin, and that his misappropriation of the funding was unconstitutional....but I'm not a bit sure how that makes a difference since he already spent most of it. It was unconstitutional, but he did it anyway. They aren't going to recover those billions, so in reality being unconstitutional didn't stop anything.
Um...the "veto" we're discussing is actually technically called a "congressional override"...it's when congress overrides a presidential veto, creating the law, not repealing it. Are you confused because I called it congress vetoing the president?

Do you contradict anything I said, or are you switching to a constitutional interpretation discussion to avoid it?
If they don't, he vetos, back to square one. It's happened, but it's rightly seen as a total lack of governance and dereliction of duty by congress to not negotiate and pass a budget that will be signed, so become law. Not sure that's possible anymore, the negotiating with the president part I mean.
They can, if 2/3 of them are willing to push it through twice.....good luck with that anymore.
We were discussing veto, and overriding vetoes.
Not the timeline I recall, but I'm not willing to dispute it.
Did you note how often the Obama administration complained that investigations into Burisma and it's founder were dropped, they never tried to stop an investigation. Did you note Biden wanted Shoken out because he shelved investigations into Burisma and Mykola Zlochevskiy ? Did you note that the UK found nothing illegal when they investigated?
Did you note that Hunter was hired before the investigations (by corrupt Russian prosecutors, btw) mentioned in the article had started, so couldn't have been hired to get them stopped? Impossible according to that timeline.
Did you note there was never any hint that he tried to stop any investigation?
At the time he was hired, there was no investigation to stop....and if he was hired to get American help with future investigations that backfired badly because we went after investigators that DIDN'T investigate or dropped cases, not ones that made cases or investigated thoroughly.
Most importantly, did you notice that there was NEVER any investigation into HUNTER for Biden to try and stop, as is the claim. None at all. Nada.
The constitution puts purse authority strictly in the hands of congress. Congress can pass any budget it pleases.
Reviewing any budget submitted by the president is a courtesy, not a requirement.
Actually, congress can pass laws that require (or forbid) the president to do things.
I am not discussing veto. I only mention it as one of the few presidential powers - and that I'm glad he has it, as it means less laws on average.
edit, According to this timeline, Hunter was working there since April 2014, in time for all the investigations.
