Bryan Cranston Scared Sh*tless in new Godzilla Trailer

I wasn't sure about this movie after the first trailer a couple months ago.

Now, after seeing what Bryan Cranston looks and sounds like in this, I'm totally in.
Yogisays...

JESUS CHRIST I can't wait for this fucking movie. I've never cared about Godzilla but this is like a better Cloverfield!

enochsays...

the original godzilla was a horror/monster flick that STILL holds up today.thank god it appears they are taking godzilla back to 'omgimgonnashitmypants" town.

Oooo! Big monster, CGI, dramatic acting; "We're dooooomed." Same ol, same ol. Another one to watch on video on a rainy Sunday afternoon..

Please excuse my bored cynicism regarding film franchise.

Hmm constant images of liberty destroyed, the environment reduced to ashes and Americans reduced to zombies.. almost like our subconscious is trying to tell us something..

BicycleRepairMansaid:

AGAIN with the statue of liberty being mamed? for gods sake LEAVE HER ALONE!!

Deanosays...

I've got my fingers crossed for this one because I'd like to see Cranston have a huge movie hit on his CV and hopefully he's not in the margins of this.

Jinxsays...

I loved Malcolm in the Middle back in the day so naturally I feel like I have a share of all of Brain's achievements to date.

Go Brian. I'm proud of you son.

Sarzysays...

It's actually the same piece of music from 2001. So that's about as 2001-esque as you can get. Requiem by Ligeti.

poolcleanersaid:

Anyone else notice the unsettling 2001: A Space Odyssey-esque music?

I think it is kind of funny that so many people think "Oooh...Bryan Cranston is in it! So it must be good." Not only before Breaking Bad...but SINCE Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston has been in one awful movie after another. Before Breaking Bad: The Big Thing. Terror Tract. Erotique. After Breaking Bad stared: Love Ranch. Larry Crowne. Rock of Ages. John Carter. And he is not stranger to awful remakes of old movies either, with Total Recall.

So having Bryan Cranston in your movie credit is far from a guarantee of a good movie.

ChaosEnginesays...

that would be why I said it COULD be awesome.

great actors can't save a terrible script (see: almost everything DeNiro has done since Jackie Brown), but bad actors can ruin an otherwise decent movie.

More like not-so-subtle Hollywood programming-Americans for the most part are being groomed for zombiedom, the environment is being raped at break-neck speeds as are the basic liberties which are a birthright of all of humanity.

Not your imagination billpayer (har), Gojira just gets taller and wider and more ominously terrifying with every new resurrection, innit?? This looks like a good one...
