Japan Does Computer Commercials Better

Members of the group Nogizaka46 star as mice women who sing, dance, and flee from a giant cat in a Japanese ad campaign for Mouse Computers. https://laughingsquid.com/mice-women-sing-dance-and-flee-from-a-giant-cat-in-a-japanese-laptop-commercial/

I stopped in a Mouse computer store (small section on 1 floor of a much larger 9 floor "tech mall" in Tokyo). Nothing especially impressive. Computers in Japan are > 15% more expensive (and 1-2 CPU generations behind) computers sold in the US.

Nice commercial though.

In what way is this 'better'. I know zero about the product other than their reliance on pseudo creepy use of young women being flirty in order to draw eyeballs. Not that we're above that mind you, but this is still a shitty add.

Personally better because i could care less about computers or their commercials (BORING). This commercial i was completely entertained and i especially enjoy the music which i've replayed many many times. So for me it's better(more enjoyable).

Really? I always thought at least with mobiles they got the cutting edge Japan-only models with special features that don't end up coming up to other countries.

Oh come on. Grown women, fully-dressed, consensually doing a non-sexually-graphic dance routine.

And can you expand on what "pseudo creepy" is supposed to mean?
