Idiot Judge Says "Black Hole" is Racist

What a joke. I wonder if he takes his coffee black oops... I mean "without color". And since when is Zorro, dressed all in "without color", bad? And Shaft was a hero too, right? He's bl..."without color".

Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to get some Freedom fries and go Freedom-kiss my girlfriend. Hopefully I won't drop into the middle of the street because somebody stole the personhole cover.

entr0pysays...

Actually the judges are right. It's a little known fact that singularities were originally termed "bad holes". It was Stephen Hawking that popularized the euphemism "black hole". Stephen Hawking, as we all know, is the world's most notorious white supremacist cyborg cosmologist.

Mr Mayfield should blackwash the entire event by saying a little black lie to avoid being whitemailed into being sued. If he's lucky his bank account will remain in the white after the law suit so that he can afford to spend a little something on himself come white Friday.

It's too bad his ancestors survived the white plague.

evilspongebobsays...

Gee I hope he never gets invited to a black tie function.

They couldn't serve black pepper there.

He might get black listed if he doesn't show.

Then he might cause offence and someone beats him black and blue and then he blacks out.

But maybe there was an actual black out and he never got the invite via email cause the power went down.

I know an issue such as this is never as black and white as it seems.

It's just one big black hole really.

snoozedoctorsays...

The relativity of this issue is debatable. What is the space, or time, for mention of black holes? When seen through a lens of race, things tend to gravitate towards extreme polarity. In that event, bullshit accretes on the horizon until the whole thing collapses into a singularity of silliness. It's astronomically absurd.

MINKsays...

wow. i thought black people fought for equality, not special treatment.

by the way.... your music is WAY better than our honky cracker ass bulll sheeeeat.

poolcleanersays...

Anyone who thinks that the term black hole, in this context, is a racial slur is a racist or an idiot. Idiots and racists should be pitied but not coddled. GTFO.

It's an embarrassment that this is even an issue.

quantumushroomsays...

Give it another 10 years and this idiot will be viewed as a pioneer.

The PC/multiculturalism/diversity gestapo must forever expand the catalog of hurtful words, creating thought control through victimhood.

That's not going to happen.

Never misunderestimate the parasitic multicultural crowd. In Los Angeles County, a memo was circulated asking employees not to refer to an electromechanicial servo system with the terms "master" and "slave".

It can happen here and is.

btw, my name is NOT racist. i got it from Mr. White, my favorite character in "Reservoir Dogs." just wanted to clear that up in case anyone was wondering.

Typically the exchange goes like this:
White Guy: "Comment."
Black Guy: "Comment is racist!"
White Guy: "No!"
Black Guy: "Yes! Apologize!"
White Guy: ". . . Fine."
THIS TIME
White Guy: "No sorry, not a racist term at all, or used in any context that could be viewed as racist. Fuck you."

This is dumb - but it's true that the word "black" most often has a negative connotation. It might have more to do with human fear of the dark than racism.

The word should be ditched entirely for use in describing humans of African descent.

I agree, but the fact remains that a word that already had strong negative connotations was and is still used to describe almost anyone who isn't "white".

Anyway, to be on the safe side, I'll use "white hole" in the future (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_hole) ;-).

^ That's why I think the word "black" should be ditched entirely for race. Why not just African? Why does it have to be african-american?

"white" should also be left behind. Caucasian people should be called "european".

The problem is that racial identifiers overlap with national ones. I'm an American-Australian mate.

Octopussysays...

Actually, I think the whole concept of race should be ditched (if asked, I always fill in "human", because it's too complicated to explain my whole family tree). And maybe we could get rid of nationality and religion afterwards.

Love how he exposes himself as an anti-semite at the end of the video...

The only appropriate response to this is "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

What an incredibly moronic, ignorant, passive-agressive shithead.

Not to mention how ignorant it is to say that all terms using "black" are racist. How about "black tie event?" or if you're in business, being "in the black" is a good thing.

Reminds me of high school, when this one black dude was being admonished by a teacher for acting like an idiot. She said "you guys are always acting up", meaning him and all his friends. The black dude tried to say that by "you guys" she meant only black people, and not specifically this guy and his asshole friends. He started raising a huge stink about it, yelling and screaming about racism, until about a dozen of us simultaneously told him to "shut the fuck up. "

Wow, really!? Of course this is the case. Yes most compound terms including "black" have a negative connotation. There are only so many colours and our minds are sort of wired to binary sorting... but you'd never expect a fucking retard like the Dallas County Commissioner to understand such subtle nuance of language.

I had a stranger come up to me once in the inner city. He started trying to establish a report, telling me where he worked, and showing me his I.D. I let him go on for about 30 seconds before I told him I didn't have any money for him (I had just given my change away not five minutes before to someone else). He got all pissed off, claiming that I stereo typed him. He claimed he was just asking for directions to the nearest gas station. I told him that I was sorry I misunderstood him, and that "everyone who comes up to me in the city and tries to be my friend ends up asking for money." (It's happened about two dozen times this year alone.) He said, "...everONE?!" as though he wanted me desperately to say every "black guy" so that -I- would fit into -his- stereo type... He was an African American, I am some kind of German/English/Irish mutt (aka 'white'). I told him that I could certainly direct him to the nearest gas station and he said, "Forget it man!"

He was full of complete B.S. No reasonable person would try to make best friends with a complete stranger before asking them for freaking DIRECTIONS to a GAS STATION. He was a racist who wanted free money.

Whitesays...

here here, sniper. boy i really hate it when any race/religion/gender fights for special treatment while claiming to fight for equality.

alright here we go. this is probably going to sound very racist, but i dont mean it like that. i got it from American History X, so get mad at Ed Norton, not me, but black people should really stop complaining about the struggle their ancestors went through. its a period in history that no one really likes to talk about, white people are sorry. really we are. the point is THEY didn't go through that struggle, their ANCESTORS did. and that was, what, 100-350 (please correct me if I'm wrong) years ago? the Jewish people have been persecuted for over 2000 years. they are still getting persecuted in the middle east to this day. i have yet to talk to one of my Jewish friends and hear him talk about the Jewish struggle. its about time that Black people start treating THEMSELVES equal to white people, and realize they can shape their own lives, and stop blaming the white man.

and this Hip Hop society isn't helping. you get people talking about how cool it is to be from the streets, so people raised in a middle class setting (black and white) are walking around trying to look and act like they live a hard life, until they talk about their PS3s and 360s.

i'm really sorry, but its time to move on.

...I'M NOT RACIST!

Hi - I started reading Nietzsche, but couldn't get past "The Genealogy of Morals". So, I blame those who have been victimized as bringing it on themselves. Occasionally, my views actually line up with current conservative philosophy, so I consider myself a Conservative/Republican. But those douches don't know what they're doing - they keep pandering to any whiny group that comes along. In reality, anyone that hasn't suffered at least as much as me doesn't deserve anything, especially an opportunity to prove themselves. And anyone that has suffered more than me is probably faking it.

White and Black should be left behind? Does it really make sense for a black person in America to describe themselves as African? FFS, there's only like 70 different ethnicities in Africa. And none of them would truly apply to the culture of blacks in north america, or europe, or those of mixed descent on any continent.

It's a simple cultural tag that many adopt with different meanings in different places, same as whites. Dag, do you identify with aryans in central asia? Do you think those cultures have anything to do with you? (Excuse me if you do indeed have recent ancestors from that region.)

If you want to use terms like Caucasian, Negroid, Mongoloid, then use them. But for simplicity sakes, I believe it's just fine for everyone to keep identifying that part of their heritage as white, black, asian, doofus, or whatever they choose. sheesh.
