Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)

Still with you! But very soggy. I think I got the last bus out of the CBD. Just went to the supermarket- it was bedlam. The shelves were Soviet. The premiere is on the radio- saying it's going to be worse than '74.

On top of this insane demonstration of power and speed that the floods have shown today, this flood has been going since the new year, and has flooded an area larger than France and Germany.

Oh, and Queensland has a lot of our really deadly snakes, and so they are sort of... In the water. hundreds of them.

So, yeah, Snakes in the Motherf*cking Floods man!

You think snakes are the worst part?
Think again - Delta Crocodiles!

Every time you hear about a record breaking weather event, think Global Climate Destabilization (Global Warming). The extra heat in the atmosphere is powering bigger storms every year, both hot and cold. I wonder how long it will be before Faux News gets the message.

>> ^Yogi:

Hey does this have anything to do with Global Climate change?

So for the misanthropic, a hot world enrages the weather to rain down destruction to us all. I got some spray painting to do!

Anybody else amazed by the coolness of the folks filming? I would have left long before they did.
And no "bad" language! I think I am more amazed by that.

I'm amazed they didn't think to stop recording and go tell anyone else in the building that might have been parked there what was happening. Of course, then it would just be a video of the water.

And I don't think the guy was letting air out of his tires, I believe he was locking his hubs to put the vehicle in 4WD.

I'm pretty sure the sky was falling down there.

Letting the air out of the tires wouldnt do a thing, I have worked at a tire shop and you can press a tire down with your own weight and then some.

Just wanted to pop that into the chat...

I am on the fence if I would of went down if I was the camera operator, you do see how quickly it is advancing but at the same time I dont know the rest of the variables etc.

I probably would of went running then stopped and started running back.

While the guy has a purple umbrella, do they really think letting air out of tires would keep it from floating away?

And yeah, he was fiddling with the hubs so he could GTFO.
