Fellow Californians willing to repeal their Bill of Rights in support of partisan politics.

I don't buy it. The first thing he does outside of the video is try to sell you his books. Once in the description, then again on his channel page. Hes following the Alex Jones style of marketing in that you scare everyone into buying it. He was even on his program doing exactly this along with a few other "journalists".

Another complete and utter moron. These guys and their preachy ways tend to pop up at the height of despair. We have to be careful and counter their stupidity with information.

Yogisays...

You took away from that video that the people were at fault? They were just trying to sign it and get rid of him so he'll leave him alone. The thing that's stupid here is the guy, the people aren't even hearing him, if he was a corpse they would've just stepped over his lifeless body.

Scary. These people are so uninformed. They don't have a clue. No wonder America is on a downward spire.

bobknight33says...

Your joking, right?

HE repeated what he was saying enough times in different version and they heard what he was saying and just kept on signing, They are the fools in the video.

Maybe they did in fact understand what they were signing. The thing is we don't have control over what is or isn't shown. Its exactly like videos out there that show "Look how stupid '(specific demographic)' is when they can't answer simple basic questions". Its there to get what the creator wants, sometimes that's attention, other times its traffic to his books.

You can repeat yourself over and over, if someone is ignoring you, they simply won't hear it. They don't put it together in their minds because they're just trying to move on. They feel like they should participate and they're trying but they're ignorant and they don't care.

Now if he was to sit them down, command their attention and explain the question I think this would've turned out much differently. In any case the guy is a douchenozzle and this signing crap doesn't tell anyone anything.

Absolutely, I'd say you can saying almost anything and people will sign your stupid piece of paper just to get you the fuck away from them. If someone told me that they would burst into flames if I would sign this for them I would be whipping out my own pen.

This is on a boardwalk, it isn't a classroom, or at their job or home. They're annoyed, they want the guy with the clipboard to go die.

gharksaid:

While this shows most of these people are either extremely ill-informed or pretty stupid, I'm pretty certain you'd get similar results in most countries.

schlubsays...

I'm sorry, this does show how stupid these people are. For either reason being presented here:

1) They are too stupid to realize what the bill of rights is
2) They are too stupid to say: "Fuck off, I don't want you to bother me". What kind of retard is so gutless they can't tell someone "no?" How is it easier to sign - that takes more effort.

So, let's say you're right, they just want the guy to go away. They are STILL stupid for blindly signing a piece of paper without question. That makes them SHEEP.

I agree with Schlub.

I don't even stop to sign things I agree with. The Human Rights Campaign has almost lost my membership because I am tired of being called AND pestered on the sidewalk weekly.

the only guy (he showed anyway) to refuse was the only one who was actually listening to him. this proves nothing except that californians will sign whatever you want so you'll leave them the fuck alone.

eric3579says...

The idea that someone is signing it because they want you to leave them alone sounds ridiculous. How hard is it to say no thank you as you walk by. How is it easier to stop and sign it then just walking on by?

shagen454says...

I think it does come down to basic psychology. Many were walking along the boardwalk with their family - seemingly minding their own business, taking in the fresh sea air, calm and relaxed, in a very safe area- when all of a sudden this guy pops up and is confronting them.

They do not want to listen, they do not want a conflict:
"I will do anything to get you away from me" All the while they are unable to hear anything but their own internal voice "I have to get away, I don't even care what he is saying it sounds like Peanuts, God this guy is annoying just give me the pen so I can sign and move on".

Sort of the way politics in America works but under the guise "Civic Duty". They all fall prey to it.
