If this is an actual race... it is a complete failure on the coach to let these kids compete without proper training. My track coach would have never let me race if he knew I couldn't properly hurdle.

Can someone explain to me why this video has about 70 upvotes? I don't get it.

All I see is a video of a girl mildly failing at a sport, like we all did at one time or another. In my instance, every time. The editing is either very mean or very jingoistic, but not funny (for me).

A better comeback would have been--Irony is every one else is probably far too lazy to try and be as good as these girls. At least 90% of Americans are too fat and lazy to want to even try! Its not that they are not skilled; I mean that implies that they would not actually, if they did try, be skilled.

I've actually never seen a girl (or boy) fall even once on the hurdles at a track meet.

It is pretty stupid to compete without having any kind of practice first. If they knew how much they failed at hurdles they would have worn kneepads and gloves.
