It's been 10 years or so frequenting the internet and I'm tired of people just pulling lines from videos to type "lol." Sue me - but until we get a more efficient, nesting comment section it's annoying when a discussion is forgone in favor of taking up space.

And "cruel" is a harsh word, but it's the internet so I guess I should expect hyperbole by now.

Many churches have acknowledged that if god is eternal and omnipotent, there is no reason a complex evolution over millions of years that results in a tuned ecosystem can't be the will of god - and even something to be marvelled at.

What really upsets Creationists is losing the "magic". They want everything to magically appear in 7 days because the magical thinking is important.

They don't want an explaination. It ruins the fun.

If god's work is deliberate and observable, then its hard to beleive in magical, impossible outcomes from praying & wishing silently in your head.

I haven't read the bible, but no matter how you break it down, either Adam and eve was fake, or god decided to re-make the entire population..different..but also instill the knowledge they learned by eating the fruit in all of us anyway, meaning god was just being an asshole when he cast the two of them out of paradise.

The reason given in the video was that the wife wanted to watch them have sex, so she just rounded up a couple of guys and let them go at it. Which is cool, when atheists rule the world.

I've never quite grasp the term "sobering" before. I have today. I was grinning like a festival the whole time, thinking "these guys are a bit over the top, but it's still pretty damn funny." But then I saw the final seconds of the video, and I lost my stupid grin. Now that, was sobering.
