rkonesays...Was I the only one thinking "bombs away" at 10:38?
rychansays...Very, very impressive. It seems to be very stable and maneuverable. I wonder what the endurance is.
TheFreaksays...Sounds like a swarm of bees. Amazing how quickly it zips away.
therealblankmansays...Should send a couple of these to Vancouver, we could use them to get some snow up to the top of Cypress.
flavioribeirosays...That's got to be the nicest RC design I've ever seen.
deathcowsays...Oh boy would drug lords use this thing to bring drugs across the border. Give me your GPS coordinate. Got the car battery with you? Wait there, 10 minutes. Take package. Recharge it. Send back.
harpomsays...It looks like loves to fly. It looks alive when it speeds away. I love it.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
Fantastic. Flies like a bat out of hell. I can imagine so many applications for this. Autonomous pizza delivery springs to mind. 10 minutes, or your money back.
fjulessays...Holy fuck! That shit is tense!
garmachisays...*engineering
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Engineering) - requested by garmachi.
BoneRemakesays...Am I the only one who thought of one hundred and 50 of these in a fleet attached to myself via harness and flying around.
demon_ixsays...All I can think of for applications to this thing, is strapping a bomb on in, and hiding 10 of them all around a city with a timer that goes off at the same time and GPS coordinates to their target.
How do you defend against something like that? It's like a low-cost guided missile.
Paybacksays...The Gods Must Be Crazy 3: Alien Invasion
Mandtissays...Lika a Dragan Fly, http://www.draganfly.com/
Starting I think at around $14000!

I watched the Draganfly videos- this thing looks like it would fly circles around it. >> ^Mandtis:

xxovercastxxsays...It's a god damn liter o' cola!
BoneyDsays...It looks like it has an incredible amount of power and is very resistant to turbulance. I wonder what happens if it loses a rotor though... Perhaps the one on the opposite side would also shut down to maintain balance?
westysays...one of those things that at first looks relay crap but when its working turns into amazing.
spoco2says...Initially, I thought "Bah, 6 props, that's overkill, the Parrot Drone does it with four"... and then I saw it shoot into the sky at that ridiculous speed.... and carry stuff... and self return to base... and... well... How much?
maatcsays...But the real question is: What can it blend???
nanrodsays...I wasn't thinking bombs away, I was thinking how can we add a mentos delivery system to that coke
conansays...I just checked their website. endurance is about 35min with no maneuvering, typically it is 20min. the costs for one to build (there are various, smaller models) is between 450 and 1000 Euro. You can get very detailed instructions to build one on their website.
btw there also is an Octo-Version ;-)
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Looks and sounds like a 'manhack' from HL2.
Spoon_Gougesays...Not just bees...angry bees...
Deanosays...WHOA. WOW. WHOA. And I'm saying that after watching the first minute.
shagen454says...They could make such a kick ass sport with these things. They could make a basketball/soccer type game in a huge transparent dome arena; the controllers could play outside the dome with special scoped-glasses meant to see far distances. There'll probably be space in your town when Walmart's start shutting their doors (if they ever do).
Psychologicsays...>> ^dystopianfuturetoday:

That's exactly what I was thinking. I doubt a crowbar would be of much use.
blutruthsays...*length=11:28
siftbotsays...The duration of this video has been updated from unknown to 11:28 - length declared by blutruth.
