I personaly think the brother with the camera is seriousl messed up as well - getting pleasure out of destroying a persons self worth doesn't constitute comedy to me. The first freak out was funny, though uncalled for. This second video just takes it too far for me. The one brother is going to suffer some serious dammage here - Where are the parents???

Abel_Priscsays...

I agree, this kid already obviously has some mental issues. Broadcasting them in front of millions will send this kid's mindset in a downward spiral.

And if the parents around my neighborhood are any indication, the parents are oblivious. They have no idea any of this is going on, and they're fine with that.

Lannsays...

I guess he's not that close to his brother. I couldn't imagine doing that to either of my two brothers even at that age...no matter how stupid they acted.

HenningKOsays...

Naw this is pretty standard brother behaviour, we just didn't have youTube 10 years ago. It's like if 3rd world countries got nukes.... suddenly they have incredible destructive power, but they're still unstable and immature 12 year old boys.
I would like to see these two start doing the talk show circuit... they'd make a great act.

grintersays...

In the olden days, people without tech savvy used to film their televisions so that they could post the videos on youtube.
In modern times, the the younger siblings of those people film youtube videos shown on their computer monitors and then repost these videos to youtube.

OK, now I think it's fake; I didn't before.

woo! a convert.. i commented that i was 'officially disappointed' in sifters on the original one of these. i just didn't understand how anyone thought it was real.

vairetubesays...

If you're just not.. convinced 100%... well, thats natural. its the internet.

Lucky for this kid: he's young enough his face and voice may change enough to be unrecognizable. So its all good...

you can always watch the remix; that is funny either way.. its on the sift somewhere.

This published video has been declared non-functional; embed code must be fixed within 2 days or it will be sent to the dead pool - declared dead by oinkinstein.

pipp3355says...

ok i might be able to get a fix for this. i'm more convinced now than ever that this is fake. here's the reason it was taken down:

"i am afraid to say i have to take down the video! something to do with his sponsers or something and he doesnt want this video on youtube or something"

sponsers?

>> 1. ... answer deathcow's question "how does he get annoyed 2 seconds after the guy sets the camera down?"

There were several 5 second-ish pauses throughout the rant. It isn't unreasonable to think he walked in during a pause rather than at the very beginning. Is the mom in on the faking as well?

>>2. Explain why the SPONSORS of this video don't want this on youtube.

I haven't seen that statement, but I doubt it means sponsors like "people who pay you to represent a product". It could mean parents or guardians... I have no idea though. It just seems that if it was meant to be faked then they could have easily written something "believable". The specific wording of that comment doesn't really support either stance on the video... it's just an odd comment.

If I found out one of my (hypothetical) kids was posting stuff like that about their brother/sister then I'd sure as hell have it taken down immediately.

>>3. Answer Sandman's question: why take a video of the video? / Explain why this is a video of a youtube video.

According to the description the original youtube video was recorded by someone else and was reposted when the original was taken down shortly thereafter. I don't know why someone would use that method, but not everyone knows how to download youtube videos as a video file.

It may be fake, but if it is then that is some amazing acting and composure. What is more likely, a kid having severe emotional problems, or two brothers and an older lady faking multiple videos flawlessly without ever once breaking character?

For anyone who is convinced this is fake (or real for that matter):

vairetubesays...

I wonder.. since the kid is a minor, he was filmed in private without his knowledge...and the kid uploading it is a minor... that should be enough grounds to complain to YouTube..

if you hate these videos, do him a favor and report the video on youtube (though it is waaaaaaaaaaay to late )

worst thing i ever did (to my brother) was push my brother into a stereo case and split his head open a little... lol and that one time i knocked him out with a piece of foam furniture... shhhh dont cry we'll BOTH get in trouble!!! we're friends still~ and years later someone hit me in the face with a guitar and now i have a scar in the exact some spot where i hit my brother. i just realized that...

budzossays...

This one could be fake. I wouldn't doubt that they started making fake videos after the first real one. Although this looks more real than fake to me. In answer to the 3 questions:

1. It's more than two seconds, and the brother is already pissed off

2. They are hardcore WOW players. Buddy is probably in a clan or some shit. The sponsor part is probably a lie or excuse, or maybe they're in some weird church/cult/the Shriners where you have a "sponsor". Maybe their family is well-off and he's being sponsored into a country club or private college. Etc.
OR
When the first video was recorded, this being the age of YT they realized they had gold and the "sponsor" is someone who is trying to make T-shirts or get them an agent or something. Now the sponsor thinks he's going to be sent to jail for driving this kid to suicide or something and has asked them to stop.

3. Why does a video of a YT video mean it's fake?

Sagemindsays...

Worst thing I ever did to my brother was put a arrow through his leg as he ran across the yard - He had it comming though, We were playing gun Tag (pellet guns) and he shot me in the chest. The rules clearly state we have to aim below the waste

Oh and did I mention, I didn't have a gun, all I ever had was my Bow with field tip arrows... I just stood on the garage roof and when I saw him creeping across the yard, I waited till he was in the middle and yelled "Start Running", apparently, he couldn't run fast enough!

I like how you snuck that racism into that comment so that people could upvote without feeling guilty.

pipp3355says...

ok after reading the above comments by psychologic and budzos i'm less convinced this is fake.. and now just.. unsure.. an agnostic-atheist if you will... but i will keep an eye out for this on the interwebs and report back to the sifts if i find anything... one thing tho.. if this IS real then i'm definitely not OK with it because its bullying, plain and simple... i would hope his school or parents intervene and provide him with the kind of support he needs.
