Crowd Chants "F*ck FOX News!" live on FOX News!

They all look stupid to me. Not giving a comment to a reporter isn't suppression of free speech. Sorry, you are a tool.

Yelling expletives and blocking the camera with middle fingers isn't effective either because anyone watching now just thinks you are looking for an excuse to riot. Quick, get the SWAT team. Seems it would have been much more effective to just ignore them completely so they would have nothing to report. Instead the story is that you're an ignorant mob who just tripped out of a mosh pit.

9058says...

Yeah i think this only strengthens Fox News by showing these retards, which im sure Fox had planned all along. Nothing takes your credibility away like guys who just seem like angry teenagers. Protesters that MLK and Gandhi would of wanted wouldnt need to create a scene or offend. They would let the anger of the opposition create the scene and then when broadcasted to the world it would offend. Thats what gave those movements credibility. Today it just seems like there is less tact and a more "lets yell and break shit" attitude.

Xaxsays...

Heh. When they don't want to talk to the dick, he says they're against free speech. Then they start saying "fuck", and he protests and asks them to censor themselves. Hilarious! Great job, Griff.

chilaxesays...

Funny video, but I believe the purpose of protesting is to draw attention to an issue and convince society the issue is reasonable and important. In this case, the protesters got their laughs, but Fox News played them like pawns.

Fedquipsays...

notes..

-Fox News reporter barged into the middle of an Anti War protest.
-Reporter complains nobody wants to talk to him
-When somebody does he says he is protesting Torture and War
-Fox News reporter starts yelling into crowd "Don't you believe in Freedom" (is this standard journalism? or rabble rousing?
-It was only after that when the crowd turned and started yelling "fuck fox news"
- Cut to anchor lady, who reminds the audience that the protest is not anti war, its an attempt to recreate a riot

dystopianfuturetodaysays...

This is what real people sound like.

The good people of Denver are not happy about Fox and they are not afraid to make that clear in the most basic way possible - Fuck You. This isn't a debate, it's a protest.

For all who would lecture these citizens on their etiquette, I'd like to remind you that this is what Democracy looks like. If you don't like how they are doing it, then get off your lazy fucking asses and do something.

Which side are you on?

dude has the right to get arrested for inciting. Free media yes, but not this stupid.

Any one in that crowd could have hurt him... and they may not have found the person who did it.

He could very well be inciting a riot, if I was working that protest I would have his ass pulled right out of there.

Fuck that she says it was out of control... he added to it. I would arrest him, and then place him in protective custody for 24 hours take his footage for evidence, and tell fox news they have been summoned for inciting.

8960says...

God, I was waiting for him to say "Are you the gatekeeper? I am the keymaster."

And yes, to me it was obviously Fox's attempt to bait and provoke the crowd.

lavollsays...

its kindof a tongue twister actually to chant out loud, at least it is for my norwegian tongue. fuck fox news. it ends up like "fax fuck news" after a while.

dystopianfuturetodaysays...

Perhaps Griff is like the unknown red-shirted crew member of Star Trek who inevitably ends up dead. Fox sent him out there in hopes he'd start a riot and get his ass kicked so they'd have something to crow about.

thinker247says...

Don't mock Jenkins. He's a veteran of the Iraq War. He was stationed in the Gulf with the Yacht Force, Squadron Polo. That man is a goddamned hero!

I think they were going to give him a purple heart, but it didn't match his Members Only jacket.

>> ^dag:
Good ol' Griff Jenkins. Could they have found a dweebier,
"just stepped off my dad's yacht" looking stereotype?

kceaton1says...

I hate Griff and all his family ever since his dumbass brother got us killed in that raid...

But, seriously fox news can shove it. I've seen enough of their crap to never again pay attention to them. I would suggest everyone else does the same. Fox reminds me of that one family member that keeps sending you those urban legend chain-letters, even though you send them a link for snopes...

HollywoodBobsays...

I don't know about y'all, but I think an FCC complaint is in order. I heard them broadcast the word "fuck" at least two dozen times, even continuing to broadcast audio after they had returned to the studio feed. The first time was a reasonable slip, the second and third time it was said they caught it and blanked it out. But after that they just stopped trying and let it out. I think some very stiff fines are in order. Children could have been watching!!!

quantumushroomsays...

These moonbats make no sense. Never have. They want to 'defend the Constitution' but destroy private property rights.

They want a gigantic government (guaranteeing an equality of outcomes) that will somehow simultaneously not encroach on their rights and step in to clean up their irresponsible messes.

I support their right to free speech 100% even as they push for fascistic speech codes for others. I'd rather know 1) where these people are and 2) what they stand for ( 1) Denver and 2) communism).

They had a chance to use FOX against itself. Result: FAIL.

8296says...

Even though the FOX news reporter stated that they were not Obama supporters, he continually made references to the democrats and freedom of speech.

These guys were Black Bloc - "anarchists" or real leftists. Their message is real and I support their ideology but not many times their actions. They don't believe in our massively corrupted two-party, corporate, pseudo-fascist system and I see eye-to-eye with this idea.

But, FOX News and all mainstream media will use the Black Bloc or other anarchist "extremist" groups to scare people away from protesting. The same thing happened before we began bombing Iraq... the Black Bloc swept across major urban areas of the country ; they graffitied police cars, they burned flags, they smashed windows of large corporations on break-away marches from the centralized and legitimate permitted protests. When they did this the media made it seem like the other 99% of the protesters were engaging in these activities of which they were actually condemned. So, if history repeats itself as the US gears up for war again, more protests of tens to hundreds of thousands will manifest and once again the media will focus on these 100-500 black hooded twats/hooligans who only aid in obscuring the much more important message of peace. A few screwballs can ruin it for the millions protesting with this shitfaced media monopoly we've got going on.

Yeah, "Fuck Fox News" - these guys had a chance to go all Chomsky on Fox Live and they blew it....

MaxWildersays...

I don't get you guys. You don't do interviews in the middle of a march! If these people had been at their destination, perhaps they would have been ready to say something meaningful. But even so do you seriously think Fox would have let a well spoken protester stay at that microphone? One guy says "stop the torture, stop the war" and the reporter immediately turned away from him. He was there to get in the way and make the marchers look bad, that is all. Maybe I agree with their message, or maybe not if what complacentnation said was true, but the most important thing they could have possibly said in that situation was said loud and clear.

FUCK FOX NEWS!

JohnnyMackerssays...

He baited them like the twits they clearly are. He was probably hoping for a glass bottle or eight to be hurled aswell.

I wish they'd had some presence of mind...but mob mentality took over and Fox had their clips.

*sigh*

NordlichReitersays...

Protest? Road, cordoned off? Permit for protest. Not violating Private Property. It it wasn't a legal protest then he cops would have been all over it before they had even had a chance to reach the convention.

Why? Because the less cameras the better.

people, people.....simply turn off your televisions, and gather and disseminate news of the process, through the internet, word of mouth, or frikkin' cans with string.....build an FM transmitter, broadcast from your home, with reckless disregard for the FCC, do the same with cottage television stations.....

This banter serves only to feed ego, reinforce individual idyllic fantasies, and buys the machine more time to implement total control.....The blacks during the civil rights era had the right idea, except they fucked up when they got lazy.....Malcomn had the right idea....KILL THESE MOTHERFUCKERS!! (too bad he was a goddamn Muslim, throwback programs tend to fuck the whole human social evolution thing up......To bad the goddamn Christians have their head up the same spiritually-bereft ass.....

Fox is given more power by all you diversionals talking about it.....Just don't look, and don't by their sponsor's shit-shit, and watch these cockroaches come out from under the fridge.....

lavollsays...

kinda catchy tho.. fuck fox news. find something that rhymes with news and we have a song. or we can do the viking poem trick and "rhyme" by using the same first letters. fuck fox news, free from nudes.. uhmm.. or something.

Summary of the comment voting clusterfuck here so far:

I said "fuck fox news" : 17 votes and starpoint.

Jordass points out that MLK and Ghandi wouldn't approve: 5 votes.

Choggie reminds us that the solution is to make our own media instead of going on theirs and shouting retarded slogans (or worse still... upvoting retarded slogans while sitting on your fat ass): 1 vote.

Quantumushroom actually makes sense for once: "They had a chance to use FOX against itself. Result: FAIL.": -4 votes.

I hope you're proud of yourselves.

Underaged-Aimless-Protesters: Either Revolt or Get Off The Pot... And don't look so ignorant doing it!

Fox: Don't send an inane dudley do-wrong into a crowd of unruly teenagers looking for a place to spend their pent up anger pennies and try to paint it as the misinformed-unguided-left once again banging their heads against the wall. I'm sure that a block away there were an equal number of other protesters with well formed opinions that would have just as gladly said "Fuck Fox News!!" with thoughtful insight to back up that message.

MINKsays...

it's childish because after the protest they expect an adult to come along and fix what they asked for. they are not fucking fox news, they are hoping someone else will come along and do that for them.

thinker247says...

Try commenting once, just once, without using your buzzword "communism." Who knows what could happen.

I'm going to go out on a separate limb here (I know months old). The chant was most likely started by someone who watched FNC and perhaps like minded friends nearby. They exercised their free speech and the message was that FNC had been perceived to them as a lameduck-mouthpiece; FNC was trying to cover tabloid aliens/e.t.s as they premeditatedly sought/saw the protesters as; the nonnatives responded to the xenophobes: FUCK FAUX NEWS.
