Gynecologist bids $69 on Price is Right

That's amazingly narrow-minded statement. I'd rather not discuss this further now that I see who I'm talking to.

Look, Aemaeth, Mormon hate is Mormon hate, whether it's against blacks, women, Native Americans, gay people or whomever they target next. It is a religion founded upon elitism, arrogance, intolerance and the delusions of a madman. You've been lied to. The quicker you free yourself from that nonsense the better off you will be.

So that makes any video about Mormons instantly about Prop 8 and NOM? I think you're falling under the fallacy of Ad Hominem Tu Quoque because you're trying to associate any video that tries to cast a negative light on Mormons as casting a negative light on NOM and Prop 8.

Apparently you guys misunderstood what I said. I never said Yahtzee said Halo Wars was GOOD, I said he considered it representative of an RTS. That's like watching a Uwe Boll movie and deciding all action movies are bad because that is your experience with it.

Reviewers have bias, yes, so do most political commentators. I just happen to think the best of both categories are the ones who's biases are unapparent.

Just because I defend the Wii doesn't make me a fanboi. I just don't like dismissing the system as saying nothing good can come out of it.

BrknPhoenix, try reading a comment CAREFULLY before making up your own assumptions.

Mormonism has a long history of bigotry, misogyny and hatred.

If Mormons weren't so eager to put the ugly side of their faith on display via national television, I probably wouldn't feel the need to criticize.

What are you talking about? The man being interviewed didn't go out of his way to say things for you to criticize. In fact, the things he said don't even seem negative to me. Seemed like the message was that it happened in the past and it was over now. What am I missing? What does this have to do with Prop 8 or NOM or hate anyway?

What you're missing is that it's not over. Mormons funded prop 8 and NOM.

I'm starting to lose respect for Yahtzee. He seems to think Halo Wars is a good example of RTS, he blasts the Wii constantly, and now he thinks HAWX is a good game. Can't anyone else put out a humorous and accurate review because I'm not sure he can.

I've got it. Very fun game, but it is a direct ripoff of Hero Wars (a warcraft 3 mod) that has been fleshed out a little better. Msg me and I'll add you to my Impulse friends list (wish it was Steam, how many friends lists do I need?).

Warnings for anyone thinking about getting it: it has pretty steep system requirements (it's the first game I can't run on highest settings) and a rather long learning curve. Lots of replayability though.

Zero Punctuation - MadWorld

Aemaeth says...

Well, I had high hopes for MadWorld, but Yahtzee's stamp of crap does make me skeptical. I'm not sure if it's because I really like the art direction or if it's because the Wii is the first and only console I've ever bought (I love my PC for gaming, the Wii is for family/my wife's friends) and I really wanted to get some good games on it that aren't neon colored and staring Mario. It's interesting that Yahtzee admits to hating both these things, so I may like this game after all.

I've heard that it's a game you have to play through once before it really starts to get good (Amazon reviews reflect this too). Yahtzee seems to have missed that fact.

Kryptos: The Puzzle the CIA Solves for Fun

What if it can't be broken because there's nothing to break. It's just a pseudo-random sequence that looks like it could contain something but doesn't.
That would be the sick kind of joke I would play if I knew professional spooks and snoops would be around the sculpture all the time.

Anything is possible, since it seems there has been no progress on this in 10 years, but the artist claims there is a solution. The other solutions may be clues to the answer, but I suspect it is impossible for anyone outside of the CIA to solve it.

First three solutions here.
