Considering the cops supposedly pulled all of the offending plants, why does everyone assume that the ones shown in the video are the offending plants? Lazy sensational reporting, surprised this isn't a Faux News affiliate...

Every cop probably wanted to say something while they were pulling them out but didn't want to be the one to bring it up. Happens all the time. Imagine the suspicious stares you'd get from the other cops when you started talking about missing buds and palmate leaf venation. You'd be the pothead of the squad from then on.
