Isn't holding a camera and filming traffic while driving almost as bad?

As in Britain and most commonwealth countries, drivers drive on the right hand side of the car. Hence the person filming is the side passenger, not the driver.

My friend Curtis says:

"Wow, I don't see how this could be possible. I ride a motorcycle too, and to maintain that speed, I'd have to hold on to my gas (using my right hand). Also, I don't think I would be able to stay balanced if I was riding like this without using my hands.

"Assuming his motorcycle is somehow modified so that he could balance the bike and control gas/breaks, this may be possible. Does anyone know how motorcycles work in India? Can someone explain how he is doing this?

"Thanks."

I don't have a lot of knowledge about motorcycles, but maybe someone here does.

I've been seriously wondering that myself. Neither of his feet are in any position to steer or maintain speed, let alone break, but I did notice in my most recent viewing that there seems to be a black cable (?) under his right foot.

It could just be part of the bike, but I was imagining maybe it's possibly connected to the steering somehow? Guy's a fricken ninja's all I can say with any certainty.

OK, the steering is fine, he's basicly going strait. He can change lanes by just leaning a little. You don't need to turn the wheel to steer that small amount.

As far as the throttle, He's not touching it. On a normal bike, no hand on the throttle means no gas. He wouldn't be going anywhere. My guess is he has modified something or has something like a cruise control system to maintain his constant speed.

As for Braking, He's a dead man. If someone slammed on their brakes, there is no way he could re-gain positioning to reach his hand-brake brake. He could try his foot brake but not from that angle. Even if he could hit his foot brake, it would throw him off balance.

DEAD - MAN - RIDING!

Ive heard that the reason the Brits (Euros) ride on the left side of the road was so that when they would pass some one on the road, they could easily draw their swords. So as to dispatch any errant highwaymen.

Ive never had any real history lesson on this.

Kind of like the salute in the military, from the days when armored clad soldiers would lift their visors from their helms.

He's using a throttle lock... it's kinda like cruise control for bikes (it's a little clamp that connects to and locks the throttle on the right hand side of the bars) And as said above he's leaning to drive.

I'm pretty sure thats a myth.

Also, other European countries drive on the right so I'm not sure why you have Euros in brackets there.

Wiki informs me that countries that drive on the left have lower collision rates than those who drive on the right!

You'd be more careful too if you had a country full of idiots driving on the wrong side of the road.
