Trump, "Obama May Be Greatest Scam In American History"

Direct from the Birther-Report... So much is wrong and scary about this.

the rich man saying he can't stand the state of affairs that people like him have created and perpetuate...

we all ignore reality differently, while creating it simultaeneously... how wonderfully awful

We're the duck vaginas, by the way.

Who is crazier:

Those who suspect a man refusing to release a document that would easily end all speculation MIGHT have something to hide,

or

those who still believe a nation can tax and spend itself into stability and prosperity, with the top producers paying the heaviest federal taxes and the "bottom" 50% paying nothing, but slurping up plenty of entitlements.

Oh yeah. America's economy is in the toilet because half of it is composed of worthless, parasitic bottom feeders 'slurping up entitlements'.

It couldn't be because the biggest corporations are paying less than zero income tax while they outsource jobs overseas, or that Wall Street scammed millions of people out of their retirement funds and homes, or that the Republican party has been puppets of the oil and military industrial complex for decades and has squandered billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives to 'make the world a more democratic (read pro-American business) place'.

No, it's definitely the fault of the poor.

Those who suspect Obama isn't a naturally born citizen by a mile. There's overwhelming evidence that he was born in Hawaii. Providing a birth certificate won't easily end all speculation. If birthers won't accept the overwhelming facts that prove he was already out there, another piece of paper won't make one ounce of difference. Bill freakin' O'Reilly even dismisses birthers' claims. If this one simple fact can't be accepted by someone, how could you ever have a meaningful debate with them about anything?!

Look, we can debate economic theory all day, but the fact that Trump and other birthers get traction with this crap is absolute idiocy, and points to the acidic partisanship in this country. I used to joke that I bet that if a person from either the left or right said 1+1=2, the other would swear it didn't. I thought I was being humorously hyperbolic. It's not a joke anymore. That's what exactly is happening here. It's pathetic.

And your platitudes about tax policy don't help either. You're indicting progressive taxation and a basic social safety net. Both have been in place at a basic level since the New Deal, and you're claiming that can't work?! It most certainly can if done right. The US has been the most economically successful nation on earth for the majority of that time. It's basic historical fact you're arguing against to make an ideological point.

Unfortunately I don't think any amount of truth or logic will ever convince the moron masses otherwise. He's got a Muslim name, he's black and he didn't have an upbringing that was as culturally isolated as 85% of Americans. The portion of the American population that believes this horse crap will continue to believe it because it validates their view that Obama isn't American.

I don't know whether 'The Donald' actually believes it or not. He's trying to pursue an option, true or not, that he thinks will destroy his competitor's image, something trump finds very important as he's built a financial empire out of image.

So when I sit and think what's more believable, that Obama has been involved in a decades long conspiracy that spans across several state and federal agencies for the sole purpose of lying his way into the American presidency. Or that a bunch of butthurt culturally isolated ignorami, that think parsley flecks in mashed potatoes is an exotic abomination that will surely lead to the steps of damnation, have latched onto a red herring that's being trolled behind the USS GOP. I'll go with the latter option.

Plutocracy anyone? Anyone?

Donald has been around for three weeks and went with the birther crap (to get his "base"; really pathetic); overnight he becomes the Tea Party front-runner and second place Republican (Tea Party members hiding behind a R). This should scare people as it OUTRIGHT shows that there is a huge amount of racism at play here.

It also shows us that the average intelligence is group oriented with very little concern for truth or even facts about Trump. Trump would be a crappy president for one character flaw that he has that is HUGE. He is insecure about himself. We're talking about someone that wears a hairpiece that makes Qaddafi look stylish...

Even when his business practices have failed he never once owned up to it and always found a scapegoat. All we can expect from him is a new Fox Reality show (not surprising with Fox's ties...), some new "one liners", his hairpiece coming off and flying through the air breaking Fabio's nose again, and the most self-absorbed/ego-driven president ever. He would eclipse Bush Jr. in a month (my wager).

P.S.- I noticed that he has a large tendency to flat out lie, but worse his Ego is the size of Jupiter and he creates lies to fulfill that ego. He literally believes that he'll jump in the chair and it will end... This is a nation-wide issue with a lot of people at fault and not helping. You have Republicans right now trying to shut-down the government so that Fox can spend four weeks talking it up (meanwhile Japan just had another quake at the 7.4 range); they did this to Clinton as well. They are completely useless and still people vote these morons in. We truly deserve our self-created fiasco. I hope it's good enough that we are NOT the number one power anymore, as Republicans hold onto that as though it's pre-ordained scripture. I don't think Trump realizes yet that the president, alone, has very little power--he seems to think that it grants you Godhood for four to eight years...

edit- My point about his ego showing up before they really even start the interview just watch the clip from about :44 to 1:05. He has a personality disorder, atleast! The Tea Party people need free funding for schooling as they need education BADLY... At 3:00 I thought he was going to go ahead and tell us how he belongs to MENSA and has been to MIT (on a tour, but those are just facts that can change, duh).

Snopes.com

You should add it to speed-dial and also make a bookmark. You seem to always be contrary on any political subject.

Which causes me to believe you're nothing, but a reincarnated troll from Videosift past. If you're trying not to troll, bring up some factual evidence and not semantics. Your quote does NOTHING for this issue other than showing us that you are most likely: a birther, tea-partier, and Donald Trump lover (in just three weeks; you haven't even heard his bad stuff yet--he'll make everyone at the Republican debate look like a saint by comparison, by the time they finish with him)...

He thinks a TV show helps him. Who is he Sarah Palin? Even the hairpiece has a comb-over (forward). Atleast someone like Bruce Willis isn't paranoid about it; he took it in stride and made it a part of him, a strength.

Let's say Obama admits he was born in Kenya.

He's NOT going to run.

This guy would never subject himself to the kind of scrutiny/criticism that comes with a run for the presidency. No fucking way.

This is TOTALLY a ploy to garner ratings for his show. Period.

I don't think the guy is anything above average with respect to intelligence/talent. But he is off the charts with respect to his narcissism and delusions of grandeur.

To be honest, I've never been privy to any presidential, NATO, or U.N. meetings. I'm sure oil works into this somehow; but, I doubt that is the reason the security council voted the way it did. War or even making a friendship or treaty will always be about resources and options (like a military base here or there, getting gold at a discounted price as long as it goes towards a bilateral satellite, etc...). Our world revolves around resources, make that clear in your mind.

Money is merely an IOU and a virtual promise, but an actual resource is power. Because, we need it and the U.S. (and the West and some of the East) are beholden by oil. So don't be surprised when it becomes a contentious issue as it WILL affect your life eventually and our government has, as a top tier issue, to keep our way of life and our lives safe. You can blame the government(s) for going after oil, but I wonder if you're aware of exactly how much oil is responsible for everywhere around you.

/I'm not trying to be argumentative in a negative way, but re-reading it gave me that impression. So take what I say with a grain of salt and only remind yourself that war will continually be about resources and land. It's a rare war to not be concerned with that. Plus Qaddafi has gone off the deep end, mentally. I'm not sure it's entirely safe to give him a chance to even try to govern his people (Cambodia: Electric Boogaloo?)...

So Donald says you can't be president if you're not born in the US. John McCain was born in Panama, not the US. Why was McCain eligible to be president? Because his parents were US citizens. Obama's mother was born in Kansas. You are born a US citizen if at least one parent is a citizen and has lived in the US prior to birth. He's a US citizen no matter where he was born, so why would he need to lie about where he was born?

While I don't want to lend any credibility to the birthers, this is not true.

McCain was declared a natural born citizen by SR511 in 2008.

You are automatically a citizen if both of your parents are citizens, are married, and at least one of them has lived here prior to your birth, no matter where you are born. This, however, does not seem to have always been the case and I'm having a hard time finding specifics on when the laws were changed. Remember, McCain was born in 1936 and many of the changes to citizenship laws have not been retroactive.

But nowhere does the law say this makes you a natural born citizen. I don't believe natural born citizen actually has a clear, legal definition in the US, actually, and that's the biggest problem with these arguments. It's often held to refer to jus soli ("right of soil", born within US territory) only. By that definition, neither McCain or a Kenya-born Obama would qualify.
