Parents letting their kids play in the ocean full of oil....

Child is screaming for mom to get the oil off her. Thousands of very fresh tar balls rolling in on Destin Beach. Kid with oil stuck on her! Destin Beach, Fl. June 23rd, 2010.

Man why is that beach open? I guess if it just washed up that morning maybe the authorities are unaware of the state it is in.
Between this, possible toxic rain (acid rain) killing crops:

the possibility that oil tainted water is raining in Louisiana:

I seriously expect that before this disaster is over, either Godzilla, Cthulu, or the Colverfield monster is going to wake up, come to the main land, and wreak havoc.

Either that or we will just be plagued by oily, zombie surfers....

This definitely needs *eia these are the dumbest parents (and the other people on the beach) in the world.

Heaven forbid that a carcinogenic toxic spill should ruin your day building sand castles.

http://www.quicktsearch.com/is-oil-spill-sludge-carcinogenic/

"Direct skin contact with oil leads to skin irritation. At oil spill sites, exposure may cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, and other unpleasant effects. Certain hydrocarbon components in crude oil are known to be cancer causing. All these evidences show that oil spill sludge is carcinogenic and extreme caution must be employed in the execution of oil spill cleanup."
... Or letting your small children play in it...

-"Well... tough luck bitch. I'm enjoying the sun. We'll wash that highly toxic crap from your feet when we get home in a couple of hours."

What a bunch of retards (It's okay Palin... I'm taking the word back)

Well, this puts a damper on my 4th of July beach vacation. I was expecting more of an uproar now that the nicest beaches in the Southeastern U.S. are oil stained. Heck, possibly the nicest beaches in the entire U.S.

Yeah!!! Not the brightest light bulbs in the pack these folks!!! Dosen't help with B P aka. Bio Problem. Down Playing the risk and not allowing workers to wear protective gear while cleaning it up!!! After all might send the message that this shit is TOXIC!!! And could prob. kill more than fish & birds!!!

It is absolutely infuriating to me how stupid these people are. Why the FUCK would you let your children play in this stuff? Anyone with a single functioning brain cell would have turned around and gone home the moment they saw that, but no, these fat, stupid women not only put their kids in it, they waddled in it themselves.

And she packed "Goo-gone", which means she was even expecting it!

My head asplode.

who cares if these idiot parents want to let their idiot kids get cancer?

less kids -> less adults -> less oil -> cleaner planet.

Actually I think that's pretty much BP's latest clean up plan.

Personally I'm more worried about the ghosts of charred sea turtles coming ashore to haunt us. Who could blame them?

Reminds me of the beaches in central california. You couldn't walk around there without picking up tarballs on your feet, but those were from natural seeps, not oil spills.

Yea, at Jalama Beach near Lompoc, CA, I've seen pretty large splotches in the sand. They're not like this though, sprinkled evenly on the beach. They were very intermittent and large tar-like chunks. But again, not from spills, though it must have something to do with rigs off the coast.

If you don't feel like watching this 4 and a half minute video here is a recap... Surprisingly it can sum up nearly everything going on in the video and everything the guy recording actually says.

"Yes this is actually oil on the beach at Destin Beach Florida"

"I can't believe this beach is still open for people and kids to play in"

"Look, it's even in the water"

All joking aside, I don't believe BP actually HAS a cleanup plan. If you look at their website with the weekly updates, all they talk about is how much oil they've managed to salvage from the spill, and the methane they're burning off to ruin the atmosphere as well.

If they were fucking concerned about the planet at all, they'd be investing their billions in FIXING THE LEAK, not to inform us about "OOH! Look how much money we didn't lose this week! "

Screw a goddamn cap on it and weld the fucker and be done with it.

Then go out of business, and all the execs line up to be publicly executed.

Problem solved.
