Little girls get into the food colouring. DISASTER!

Dad stays surprisingly calm. Must be a rental.

this is what my inner mom was yelling at him while watching this:

"and you rewarded them by filming IT!??!?! now theyre going to do it all the time! FUCK!"

BUT my daughter did something similar at about 20 months and it was adorable. and infuriating. and hilarious.

Yeah, you got to love a parent that rather than... oh... I dunno, scolding them (not too severely, because they don't really know it's wrong to do this), and taking them off to get clean and not make MORE mess, and clean up as much as possible as early on as possible... they video it instead.

*sigh*

Yeah, let's make everything a possible friggen Funniest Home Video's video.

I think dad is so calm because he doesn't know the extent of the disaster and how hard it is to get food coloring out.
Did you hear the reference to the "new floor"?
Oh, he's right, he is toast!

...or maybe he just knows that his wife is going to clean it so he doesn't have to worry about how hard it is to clean.

Dad's calm because he's on camera. He'll kill the kids as soon as it's off.

He is calm because he knows it's 110% his responsibility.

Only an immature loser would get angry at toddlers for getting into stuff when he's fuckin around on the Net.

Oh, and yes, I do agree, he IS toast. Although... he's probably filming it for use in about 17 years...

ps. I have some environmentally-friendly, non-toxic cleaners that would make that shit disappear in seconds. Especially the carpets. Probably clean up the kid too.

I, for one, think that's a little bit of bad parenting. I don't think one parent should ever make themselves the good guy and the other the bad guy, but that's exactly what dear old Dad's doing when he calmly announces with a smile how Mommy is going to be very upset with them.

They should both be angry or they should both be calm, but whatever the parents' reaction, it should be a joint venture from the kids' point of view. Of course, that's just my pre-parental opinion.

In any case, those kids are cute.
