Hannity Tries To Fake Out Michael Moore And Fails

Michael Moore makes mincemeat out of Hannity's fake 'hospital' video footage from Cuba
Someone really should have thought twice before letting Sean Hannity embarrass himself with the failed stunt he tried in his interview with Michael Moore, the second half of which aired last night on Fox.
Hannity wanted to make a point about how health care in Cuba is so much worse than it is in the US.... in contradistinction to Moore's own reportage.... so he offered what he called special video footage he had been provided of a "hospital" in Cuba.
You'd think Hannity & Co. would know better than to try to run such hamhandedly edited footage past an experienced filmmaker like Moore."

"Lets take video of an abandoned part of a hospital and cut in scenes of patients with the footage to make it seem like the conditions are dastardly. You think this famous Director will notice? Nahhhhh...."

This is just absolutely fucking pathetic. Say what you will about Cuba, and Castro and whatnot... But THEY ARE very generous about their health services, and they DO have a fairly good health care system.
I'm from Portugal, and there's LOTS of people from here who go to Cuba to get some help.
I never heard anyone say that the cuban staff or conditions were anything below reasonable or acceptable.

Oh... and Hannity.. If I EVER had cancer (let's hope not) there's only 1 place I would choose, which is the IPO (the Portuguese Institute for Oncology). A state facility! Go figure! And In a country where the health care system is not even as good as it could be. Let alone in a place like France or England.

Any perception of the US medical system being superior to Cuba faded when I read that one of the arguments that the lawyers representing Elian Gonzalez's father made was that, medically speaking, Elian had a much greater chance of surviving to age 10 in Cuba than he did in the United States.

That's... just... humbling.

It is amusing to watch Mr. Moore question (critical thinking skills you learn from liberal colleges/universities) Mr. Hannity's tape of a cuba hospital. I've learned with Fox News, not to accept anything they say at face value.

Ignore the trolls. Moore should probably heed to that, too.

He might then avoid what seems to be a likely brain aneurysm (which he will likely get treated at the far superior Cuban hospitals)!

Hannity thinks he's a master debater and regularly pulls one over on his guests, or gets them to agree with him through a circular argument.

In showing this video what did he expect? Has he ever been to Cuba? Showing video of an old broken down hospital probably used by squatters, they paid some really poor and malnourished people to sit on the beds for the video so they could have a half a second showing 'actual patients.' Moore has been to cuba. He's been all over the country. I think he would know just a LITTLE bit better what the health care is like there than Hannity who's barely ever left the States.

In the end, he got TROUNCED by Moore. In laymen terms.. he was ass raped.

The part with the patients in the beds could have been from an actual hospital where they were getting treatment, etc. It's definitely not the same place as the rest of the footage, the walls are painted.

Moore: Wait! You stopped rolling the tape! I was still waiting to see the "hospital"

Hannity: That's the point

Wait. So, Sean. The point is that there was no hospital? Ah ok. And we'll leave it there.

It would've been been way less funny if Hannity had backed off and admitted he was wrong....luckily this is the "Stay The Course" channel.

Where are all the FOX apologist comments? The usual suspects are strangely silent...
