Net Neutrality for Dummies

Sniff...this video reeks. It smells remarkably like a creationist "science" piece.

No mention of P2P networks? Broadcast censorship (however infuriating) is completely irrelevant to the discussion. I especially like the bit where their grudge against Al Gore is what prompted them to "dig deeper". Very classy.

No business is more secure and profitable than a monopoly. If you have the ways and means, why would you not want to make it impossible for anyone to challenge your position? It's fundamental strategy.

That guy was a fucking great driver. RIP

What looked like double clutching in the beginning was a missed 4-5 shift I believe. The NSX has a synchronized gearbox.

A friend of mine does the throttle pumping as a way to tease the envelope and make sure 100% of traction is being used, and to get the car to rotate if it's understeering. I can't get it to work for me.

I can't imagine the reflexes you'd need to do that in an F1 car. The NSX is a squishy dog by comparison.

He did not say, or even imply that youtube doesn't have the right to do whatever they want...in fact he explicitly stated that they have that right.

That's not the point of the video. It's a warning to us, as consumers, and to YT/Google as providers that there are people paying attention and something smells fishy.

It's good to comprehend the thing you're criticizing, before you make yourself look like an arse.

It's so simple. Why bother nit picking? Insurance company profits are inversely proportional the the quality of the coverage they provide. It's not like there's any competition. They have a captive market, and they exploit it...wouldn't you?

9/11 Blueprint for Truth - Compelling Presentation

It does seem like an amazing coincidence that all 3 buildings fell with perfect symmetry....not conclusive of course, but enough to warrant a closer look I'd say.

These are engineers and architects who witness compelling evidence of one thing, and are told something utterly different. Those types of people tend to be very emotionally invested in their areas of expertise. I can understand their fervor...especially considering the events occurring in the wake of 9/11.

I don't see any outlandish claims being made....definitely worth investigation.
