12 Year Old Publicy Schools NC Governor

http://www.theeverlastinggopstoppers.com/2013/10/12-year-publicly-schools-governor-moral-monday-rally-north-carolina-video/

"12 year old Madison Kimrey spoke at Burlington, North Carolina’s downtown amphitheater on Monday, October 28, 2013. She discussed the new North Carolina voting laws and very eloquently pointed out that “there is a serious leadership problem in North Carolina” and the current State legislature (among other things) was trying to reduce voting participation of the state’s youth. Thankfully, Madison does not have her head in the sand and wants to spread the truth.

“I AM NOT A PROP!

I am part of the new generation of suffragettes and I will not stand silent while laws are passed to reduce the amount of young people in voter turnout in my home state!”

It’s bright minds like this young lady that give me hope for the future."

A nice smiling puppet for the left. In NC they do have the right to vote so what this child is spewing is propaganda that her mother wrote.

Everyone knows that young people are lacking in wisdom and that is only gained through time and experience.

That lack of wisdom helped put the utter disaster of a president that we have now. How is that unemployment doing for you?

And to top that off the youth will be paying around 300$/month for the PONZI insurance scheme that you cried for. The Un-afforadable care act.

Just like Social Security you will pay into it and by the time you get of age to use it it will be gone. Used up older people. Rob from the poor to give to the rich.

I've heard a lot of kids read. The tempo, inflection, and candor of what she's saying, indicates, to me, that she understands what she's saying.

I'd say that she edited it with someone, and the girl is obviously very intelligent.

Want proof? Ask any 12 year old to read what she read out loud.

Edit: I just noticed autocorrect changed a misspelling of candor (honesty) to cantor (singing).

Yogisaid:

Soooo who wrote that for her?

I wish the old had some common sense the young possesses. It seems to me bob that we just gravitate towards a different common sense, not a better. We become jaded and wiser.

Another fun fact, the older one gets the less right they get, past their 30s. This is because we stop caring about petty shit like the war on pot, women's right to choose and such. We get "wiser" as you say and stop frothing every time someone brings it up. (The only reason the elderly are more conservative than the young is that they come from an era that was more conservative. I am just pointing out that they lose it as they go, even if they have more of it to go with. Like heavy set people losing weight.)

Holy shit, did she just say she is part of the new generation of Suffragists? Wow...just fucking wow. I wasn't aware that it went that far! They must have teens beaten, lynched and arrested (And many times subjected to sexual humiliation as a result) if they try to vote up in NC. That was what real suffragists went through. Not some pre-adult pre-registering to vote one day inconvenience bullshit; even if they will probably never vote more than once in their lives.

That sickened me more than I would like to admit. I agree that teens should be allowed to pre-register, but think that her argument could have better been made. If you have to say, "I'm not a prop" or "I'm not a crook" then you probably are.

To be a suffragist, one only has to be denied the right to vote. Being sexually humiliated, beaten, lynched, or arrested shouldn't be a prerequisite to complaining about wanting to vote and being disenfranchised.

And restating an argument as a counterpoint doesn't dictate who a person is. They said she was a prop, she said she wasn't.

It'd be like me saying "Lawdeedaw is a centaur." "No I'm not." "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT A CENTAUR WOULD SAY!"

Being unable to vote is not the same thing as being denied the right to vote. Saying a three year old is a suffragist is kind of...well, silly. But it's true based on the idea that she is "denied the right to vote."

Because the definition is so broad, it really means NOTHING at all (As John Stewart said, "When you amplify everything, you hear nothing." The definition as you use it is the same vein.)

Are corporations, declared real people by the supreme court, suffragists. Publix maybe, but not Walmart! (That was facetious, not intended to be sarcastic.)

For example Jigga, we are both poor suffragists because we can't vote--in the Iraqi elections. Poor us, being held back. I don't apply suffragist to reasonable expectations. You should have to be a citizen of the country you vote in. A certain age (Which doesn't imply you should or should not be allowed to pre-register...) A certain mental capacity (Ie., not in a coma. Ie., have the ability to spell capacity and not "compacity," like I apparently cannot do )

I do think tests on intellect make for suffragists. I do think gender and gender identification make for suffragists. I do think religious bias makes for suffragists. I do think being arrested and paying for your time yet being released and unable to vote makes for suffragists.

I don't think this girl in any way shape or form is a suffragist.

Of course someone wrote this for her. How many of his own speeches do you think the president writes? (I mean, you could argue that the president is a prop.. but that's on a whole 'nother level).
I agree, the way she reads makes it clear that she understands what she is saying.

I think you forgot to check that 'sarcasm' box.
