Suggestion: reduce Sifty's real estate in comments.

Each comment is about 1/6 of a screen on my standard 1920x1080 setup
Comment post #1: New thumbnail.
Comment post #2: someone posts new length
Comment post #3: Sifty replies
Comment post #4: some puts Quality tag
Comment post #5: Sifty replies
Comment post #6: someone rechannels
Comment post #7: Sifty replies.
Comment post #8 (more than a full screen down): FINALLY A COMMENT WORTH READING.
Wondering if there's some way to reduce all of that effectively-spam to something much smaller footprint-wise for all sifts, let along excellent sifts like this example where there's as much fun, if not more, in the comments section as there is in the original video.
Not a colossal beef, just making to look this place a little more user-friendly.

*quality idea
Awarding Retroboy with one star point for this contribution to VideoSift - declared quality by eric3579.
I consider @siftbot to be a rare and important member of the community.
Perhaps comments that are entirely invocations and Siftbot responses could be collapsed into text-only "interstitials" between comments?
Edit: I rigged up a crude mockup of this idea.
Also: it'd be nice when viewing comment streams (Recent Comments, My Recent Comments) to be able to filter out comments that are entirely invocations.
I wonder if any of this is addressed in VS5 already?
Oh! And make it impossible to upvote Siftbot's comments, unless they're not automated comments - like when he's being funny.
I hate seeing the 'recently upvoted comments' stream to find someone has upvoted an automated comment by Siftbot.

I can see this both ways, for exactly that reason.
Upvoting a Siftbot comment to get it onto the Newest Appreciated Comments list is an easy way to draw attention to a video.
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I see what you did there.>> ^ReverendTed:

Lets just get ride of the stupid siftbot.
I vote Graterbot be re-instated.
HAIL GRATER BOT !
Well...Sorrrrryyyy! jk
This does sound like a good idea.
Get a bigger monitor.
Don't make @siftbot mad. You won't like him when he's mad!
I just want to be loved.

Above this comment are four comments, all one line each, yet they take up my whole screen. I'm sure my screen has room for more than those four lines of text (of course I'm net mentioning the two lines of links under each comment as well.
I sometimes wonder if the padding within the comment boxes, is more than it needs to be. (particularly at the bottom)
The paragragh spacing between a comment and a quoted comment seems to be too much as well.
(I should also mention that I am on a 27" monitor at 2560 x 1440 resolution.)

It's been suggested before. I think it's a good idea.

Quoting doesn't seem to work in SiftTalk for me, but what ReverendTed proposed in response #3 (AND WHAT SHOULD BE RESPONSE #2 ) is quite close to what I had in mind when I started this topic. Well done.
