World's First Laser Rust Remover

newtboysays...

HOLY CRAP!!!! That's AWESOME! WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT!!!!!
It does make me wonder what breathing vaporized rust does to a person's lungs, but face masks or fans can solve any issue there.
*quality tool for metal workers. WOW!

It is actually real, in fact there are multiple wattage models. This is the first one dedicated to rust removal, but I've heard all of them are crazy expensive.

Even if it's not real (Because after all, this IS the internet.)

This video is just so satisfying. Everything from the sound to the cleaning.

mmmmmm.

I don't think they are related. While content is similar in nature, these videos are not related to each other. Similar tags and channels, but not directly related.

This video is about using a high power laser to remove iron oxide, the bronze sculpture one is using a high power laser to remove copper oxide, and the other one was using a high power laser to remove rubber. On that basis, that they all reference using a high power laser for cleaning, I thought they were related.

There is, in any case, no way to undo a related invocation so even if you are able to persuade me that I'm mistaken there's nothing to be done!

Videos of the same event taken by from various angles would be tagged as "related".
These videos simply have similar tags and channels.

Related has always been open to a bit of interpretation in use. I see it being used here exactly as i perceive it should be used and i assume as intended when it was created. I have not however looked up how its defined(if it was)when it was created.

IMO, videos with similar events, methods, and machinery qualify as 'related'.
No where is there a definition of what 'related' means as an invocation, only that you can add a 'related' post to a post. I'm not at all sure where you came up with your 'definition'. Videos of similar events are certainly related to me.
Sorry, I'm on team @oritteropo on this one.

The way siftbot generated the related videos list prior to this invocation was exactly that: similar tags or keywords.

The invocation was added, as I understand it, so that you could give the toaster some assistance in the frequent occurrence that the process either went hilariously wrong (as the youtube one often does) or if it just missed some that should have been included.

I see where you're coming from, but that's not how I understand it.

I think we might just have to agree to disagree.

Another place that Related has always been open to interpretation is Arkansas.
