bobknight33says...I just don't understand people that steal.
Poor broke homeless is 1 thing but this no.
newtboysays...Edit: It’s sad that thieves caught red handed are allowed to get away with these blatantly false excuses and half apologies so often.

bobknight33says...Trump didn't steal the election.

If you are against thieves, explain why you still support Trump please.
eric3579says...I'd guess that this particular guy would happily trade the legal ramifications, which he may still receive, instead of the shit i imagine he is getting now from every corner of his world. Seems to me there is ample evidence, without the victims desire to prosecute him, and I assume there may be plenty of pressure to do so. He went and stole from a highly prolific internet star hugely popular within the thief's sphere of peoples, i'd imagine. EVERYONE in his community (neighbors, friends, work, church, the social media world, etc.) know of this video and surly he will feel the wrath of his choices for a long long time. Wouldn't be surprised if he loses any job he might have. Maybe even need to move from being completely ostracized from his community. I could easily see it happening in an especially yee-haw area like Rutherford county, Tennessee. He will forever be infamous with this video following him for eternity. I don't wish that shit on anyone, but you know what they say about the bed you've made.

Trump didn't steal the election.
vilsays...He stole peoples trust in democracy. Twice. When he won and after he lost.
Trump didn't steal the election.
eric3579says...Can we please not derail this comment thread with talk of Trump. I'd really appreciate it. Maybe take it to profile pages. Thanks
mxxconsays...This kid wanted to get his stuff back, and asked to pay for the cameras, but then returned the money the last second? Seems like it was premeditated by the kid just to humiliate the guy. To make the guy beg for youtube views.
I wouldn't let him off, NOR would I give back cash.
This society is built on laws and for breaking those laws there are consequences, even if you are sorry that you got caught.
SFOGuysays...A $300k reward for a $20k skid loader/Bobcat?
lol
Now that--that video should be fun to watch.
BSRsays...What if you suspected he may kill you a few months or years down the road to get revenge?
Giving the money back showed an act of forgiveness which is beneficial to the forgiver and hopefully the forgiven. They now have a chance to become trusted friends because they now know a little more about each other.
In the end the forgiveness you give will all be meant for you.

spawnflaggersays...this video already has 8M views - this youtuber kid is likely a millionaire, so him offering $1400 back is smart- just to remove the chance of some hater backlash "millionaire asking for $1400". Since the thief knew the kid and seen his videos, probably his mindset was "fuck this rich kid, he can buy more", and the remorse only came after he got caught. Glad he was caught. Sad that this youtuber felt he had to move 1 month after finding new place. Hope he doesn't ever move to L.A. like other rich youtubers.
mxxconsays...I suspect you'll kill me in a few months or years.
Should I pay you not to murder me and even hope we'll become friends?
Do you realize how delusional that sounds?!
I think you have Stockholm Syndrome.

BSRsays...I know. It sounds absurd don't it?
I'm not paying you to not kill me. You gave me back my stuff. I give you back your money. We're even.
You realize I'm not the person you thought I was. You also admit you were the bad guy. Hopefully you learned something about yourself. You also realize you are given a second chance.
The only thing you have to do now is apologize to your wife and hope she can forgive you or you ain't gettin' no nookie no moe.
