gwiz665says...Some people...
demon_ixsays...It's not the Earth that will go away, silly elected official. The Earth would still be here. The people won't.
schmawysays...OUT! *points at door* RIGHT NOW!
JiggaJonsonsays...What was she referring to as far as environmental laws? Is Arizona planning on circumventing some EPA regulations with this?
O well, silly EPA is made of a bunch of treehuggers anyway
burdturglersays...I think she should personally handle all the uranium to make sure it's safe.

Duncansays..."It's been here 6000 years, long Before anybody had any environmental laws, and somehow it hasn't been done away with."
That's cause when Jesus mined for uranium he...ah screw it.
lavollsays...ignorance makes jesus happy.
Nithernsays...Well, at least we know which verion of Genesis she thinks is correct. Still, anyone who thinks uranium is 'safe' is either a poorly educated whacko, or a talking puppet of the mining company looking to screw Arizonians over.

I'm pretty sure her point is that god will make it safe, as long as we love him enough. You know, the way he's always protecting us from the consequences of our own actions.
sholesays...well, there's an argument to be had there, but any amount of safe or unsafe uranium is still better than half the world's cities underwater
rottenseedsays...Sometimes I catch myself growing apathetic to the whole young earth/real earth debate until I see something like this that puts it into context for me.
chilaxesays...Conservatives should be first in line to criticize this kind of intellectual laziness among other conservatives.
ponceleonsays...Raptor-riding jesus approves.

But then that would mean that calculated partisan loyalty is wrong, especially when one's party has been hijacked by idiot christians? Like, OMG.
Esoogsays...6,000 years...give or take a few thousand.
I'm proud to be an American (no, Im not breaking into song), but it saddens me to know that it's these kinds of people that are leading our country. *cry*
MarineGunrocksays...Not fit to live? Nice tags. Aren't you just a shining beacon of tolerance? -To say someone should die because their beliefs do not match yours? You're no better than Hitler.
Yeah, I went there.
HollywoodBobsays...The more I see things like this, the more I worry that Darwin was wrong. Because if he was right, this lady should have found herself selected against by now.
chilaxesays...^There are only two major changes in gene frequency that occur in the modern age. (1) Less education and (2) greater religiosity each correlate highly with having more children, and having them at earlier ages.
ForgedRealitysays...JESUS MADE ME POST THIS.
handmethekeysyousays...Immediately after watching this video, I watched this video:
http://www.videosift.com/video/1-Million-lbs-of-Force-Exerted-on-Concrete-Pylon
Now if only I could combine the two in some way...
quantumushroomsays...How about that, she's wrong about the age of the earth but probably wasn't fooled by the great global warming hoax. So she's smarter than greenvangelicals.
gwiz665says...Fuck tolerance. People who don't know jack, should not be able to lead. That's the main problem with democracy.
"Live" was perhaps overkill, so to speak.
Xaxsays...There's no "moving forward into the future" when people are electing these relics who are staunchly anti-intellectual and anti-science. The best way to move forward into the future is to not vote for these fools; they serve only to stifle progress.
raviolisays...I thought that blue-suit guy was coming to fart in her face after she said that. That's what I would have done.
NetRunnersays...I believe she's a State Senator for Arizona. The US Senators for Arizona are Jon Kyl and some dipshit named John Sidney McCain III.

*science
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Eco, Science) - requested by NetRunner.

siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'arizona, senator, moron, creationist, not fit to live' to 'arizona, senate, moron, creationist, uranium, nuclear, Sylvia Allen, mining, republican' - edited by burdturgler
nach0ssays...Keep in mind, this woman represents district 5 in the Arizona State legislature. She does not represent Arizona in the United States Senate. Just to clarify. Flame on!
calvadossays...*fail?
