TDS - Glenn Beck's Operation

I'm not even surprised at this point...

Haha. That was brilliant. Our healthcare system is bad, but Glenn Beck is simply *terrible.

I do think people expect too much in terms of customer service from our healthcare system, as if they're making a purchase at WalMart and expect the old guy in the blue smock to kiss their ass while buying that $3.99 bulk toilet paper pack.

It seems to me kind of like 18 months ago Glenn Beck got stuck in traffic and built a show around it, and now he's making a show around not letting the government change our highway system. Really not as hypocritical as this clip might lead one to believe.

Its obvious anyone on TV every night can be made to look like a fool by isolating some pieces of their shows and playing them side by side. Jon Stewart (who I like a lot) is fortunate nobody really views him as someone who's opinion matters in any serious debate(yes, I know a huge percentage of people get their "news" from him) or he could see himself in a similar smear.

Are you kidding? So a person on TV with millions of fans following his every word has no obligation to be truthful, or at least consistent with his message?

I suppose that in the infamous "Obama has a deep-seated hatred for white people, but oh no, I'm not saying he doesn't like white people" statement, in which Beck contradicts himself within the timeframe of 2 minutes, he was being an upstanding journalist with impeccable integrity?

When a person on TV has to add a disclaimer to every statement he makes, saying he "doesn't really believe" it, he should be called on it. Few examples:

Typical liberal garbage, the scramble to replace imperfect with incompetence and indifference that can't ever go out of business.

Go down to the DMV and see how concerned and caring those faces behind the counter are. Now put them in labcoats. That's what you want to pay for with over half your income in taxes?

How does attacking Beck demonstrate how Leibowitz' way is the better way? Your fuct anyhow, libs, public opinion is now against this BS.

Maybe *your* public opinion QM. Most of those town hall meetings being televised only have a handful of nuts in the apple barrel. Just because the nuts are making more noise (and thus getting more attention) doesn't mean that they're the "majority". There are many more town halls being conducted where you don't hear a peep out of your so called majority because frankly, they don't exist.

And despite whatever Beck says, America does NOT have the best health care in the world. Check any source you want, we're fairly consistently in the 20s or even lower precisely because of crap like Beck went through. And he's a celebrity! Kinda.
