VoodooVsays...I don't understand how some of these sports are still considered sports.
dressage, synchronized swimming, floor exercises.... It's ridiculous

Agreed, once you're wearing a costume with sequins on it, you're no longer a sport.
Not that it isn't athletic or skilful, but it's not a sport.

I thought these were games, not sports... I don't remember it being called Olympic Sports, just Olympic Games

Agreed but those athletic skillful things can have a place in the olympics. If anything I'd like to see more and MORE olympic events, just all kinds, including bringing back poetry.
messengersays...It's not a game either if you have to wear make-up and look pretty to win. Anything with an aesthetics component to the mark isn't a sport or a game. It's an art. Like ballet. And this art is scary and ugly.>> ^SevenFingers:

dannym3141says...I credit the timing of the new photos in rhythm with the music, really funny.
Sniper007says...A always thought synchronized swimming was a joke thanks to the Martin Short link posted above. I didn't know it was a real thing (men's or women's).
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
Exactly. Why is this a sport? Replace it with BMX bikes or street luge.>> ^VoodooV:

renatojjsays...I think the next Olympic Games should have some sports removed. Like, they should pick the 5 least favorite and get rid of them altogether.

Well, if certain people didn't ruin it for everyone by drafting all their best athletes into the army where all they did all day was practice for the Olympics...

BMX is already an olympic sport. Sarah Walker (no, not that one) won a silver for NZ, now making a google image search for "Sarah Walker" the awesomestest page on the internet.
kymbossays...Yeah, but running in a straight line for a bit is a sport?
silvercordsays...*horrorshow
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Horrorshow) - requested by silvercord.
poolcleanersays...1:23 is fucking hawt. Videosift makes me masturbate. Thanks.

You know that would include all figure skating, the most popular event of the Winter Olympics. Let them have their fun, and let us not feel obligated to care about it. That's my attitude to all sports and dancing.
ReverendTedsays...>> 'YouTube:
You'll never be able to see the sport the same way again.
No, I'm pretty sure this was what I was already thinking. I wonder how much training time is spent getting everyone to wear the same terrifying "Exhilarating Porcupine Poop Surprise" expression?
jonnysays...As far as ridiculous Olympic events go, this isn't nearly as bad as Trampoline. Fucking trampoline is an Olympic event. It used to be a training exercise, and the "athletes" that compete in it are the ones that weren't good enough at gymnastics.
I don't mind so much adding "games" to the Olympics, but why did they have to get rid of baseball? It's only one of the most popular sports around the world.
messengersays...The popularity of an event doesn't make it a game or not. My little comments on VS aren't going to affect anyone's enjoyment of it.>> ^entr0py:
