Steve Schmidt on Trump 'Stoking And Inciting' Worst Among Us

Republican Strategist on how Donald Trump is 'Stoking And Inciting' worst among us. Inciting violence, and lying about the caravan.

Remember, this guy is the reason Mc Cain went with Palin. He's pretty far to the right... now of course the Trumpers will claim Mc Cain isn't to the right at all and betrayed the country... and this guy is now doing the same... because any criticism of Trump is somehow bad, even within his own party. Not a cult at all...

Today Trump announced an executive order (unconstitutionally) rewriting the constitution so that babies born in America will no longer be citizens.
One more ignorant attempt to dehumanize any non American....this one totally unconstitutional according to all constitutional law scholars besides Trump and Giuliani, but he doesn't know that, he's never read it and wouldn't care if he did, he's anti constitution.
So much for his oath to support and defend the constitution, he'll wipe his ass with it if it will rile up his base of racists and secessionists. Let's hope this blatant unAmerican and unconstitutional move is enough for impeachment.

At this point, supporting Trump makes you an anti American terrorist just as certainly as supporting Bin Laden, ISIS, or the Taliban. They are all extremist terrorist organizations. Trump's entire platform is and has always been fear and terror and now his followers are trying what he told them to do, take out the liberals before they come take your guns.

Lock him up, lock him up, lock him up, lock him up, lock him up, lock him up, lock him up.....and waterboard him in Guantanamo for the remainder of his short time in earth.....along with his immediate family and entire administration.

I'd just like to say "Thank You" to Donald Trump.

I voted today for the first time since I registered during my freshman year in high school back in the early 70s. Back then I registered as a Republican because my parents were Republican.

Since then the Republican party has been hijacked. This time I voted Democrat because I can't stand the smell of bullshit.

Thank you Donald Trump. You've inspired me.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and I got mad about something and I kicked my bedroom door. Mom asked me why I kicked the door and I told her I didn't do it. My foot did it.

Such Bull crap. Trump has nothing to do with the shooting.

How could anyone possibly connect Dumb Donald's continuing public accusations against numerous prominent Jews that they are paying refugees (rapists and murderers), gang members (murderers), and Islamic terrorists (murderers) to "invade America" with the right wing terrorist, Bowers, who authored a social media post before the shooting accusing the organization HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, of bringing "invaders in that kill our people."
There's clearly no connection at all. Just because right wing terrorists are attacking the exact targets Trump continues to designate as the enemy (like calling CNN "the enemy of the people" between when the second and third bomb addressed to them was discovered), and are using his arguments and tweets in their manifestos and internet ramblings doesn't mean they've ever even heard of Trump, no connection.
*facepalm

Steve Schmidt and Kevin Philips both piss me the hell off.

Both are directly responsible for the dissolution of rational discourse in American politics. Both have done incalculable -- and perhaps irreversible -- damage to America's democracy. Both said damn the consequences when they were conniving to force their toxic ideology on the American people.

Now they both have religion when everything's gone to shit.

To their credits, both have tried to atone for their sins -- Phillips with his book "American Theocracy"; Schmidt with his renunciation of the GOP and everything it stands for -- but the damage has already been done.

Phillips and Schmidt are both incredibly intelligent men and as such, they should have known better. That they're trying trying to clean up their mess is laudable, but that they made it in the first place -- and fucked all of us in making it -- is utterly galling.

Schmidt explained his points very clearly in the video.

Did you just not watch it or are you unable to process any information that doesn't put the orange king in the best light?

Explaining clearly does not make him right.

Obama was clear-- he was wrong.

B. Clinton ws clear-- he was wrong.

Bush senior was clear-- he was 1/2 wrong
Bush Jr-- never spoke clearly. he as 3/4 wrong.

newtboyjokingly says...

Perhaps not, but explaining clearly while being correct do make him factual.

Having the ability to explain a position clearly using complete thoughts and sentences paired with factual data seems to be a characteristic now no longer possessed by the right, so shouldn't be described as being right.
