kir_mokumsays...you do not live in vancouver.
jonnysays...You mean housing prices? Yeah, I'm aware that many houses cost more than $260k. The title is a just reference to Glengarry Glen Ross.

I still wear and use CASIO Data Bank calculator watches!
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Music) - requested by ant.
gorillamansays...Anyone who would spend even a thousandth of that amount on a watch ought to be killed.

I would take a sick pleasure in making that happen but more than anything I'd like to slaughter the maker of this watch...and then you...ALL OF YOU!!!!
kir_mokumsays...but srsly, you couldn't buy a closet for $260K here.
ForgedRealitysays...It's funny because the watch probably doesn't even exist anywhere. This is a computer animation of a watch that someone thinks COULD be built, and are trying to sell the idea to watch manufacturers, as well as gauge interest. Afterall, why waste the effort if no one is willing to buy one?
This ANIMATION probably cost them that much to produce...
Mazesays...Wait until 3D printers have the resolution to print it, then download the schematic from your favourite file sharing service.

How much to rent the closet?

Then we could make watches out of their bones!
quantumushroomsays...Speaking of fancy irrelevant tech, you should see my gold-plated, jewel-encrusted 8-track player.

siftbotsays...Self promoting this video back to the front page; last published Friday, March 16th, 2012 5:08pm PDT - promote requested by original submitter jonny.
Xaielaosays...I've always been more of a pocket watch kind of guy. Who carries a watch anymore though when we all have smart phones (or regular cell phones) that keep the time.

I was gonna say, USD 260,000 - which is approximately GBP 163,532 - would not buy you much in London, either. My small one-bedroom flat in a not-terribly-nice area of SE London cost me £1500 more than that watch. But now I get the reference I'll let you off.
