Palin - Katie Couric Annoyed Me, So I Couldn't Name a Case

From YT: Appearing on a friendlier news outlet, Gov. Sarah Palin said she was "annoyed" with the way Katie Couric handled their interview and complained that the CBS Evening News host failed to give her the opportunity to take a proverbial axe to Barack Obama.

In a portion of her sit-down with Fox News correspondent Carl Cameron, Palin claimed that Couric's questions -- which produced a series of staggeringly embarrassing responses -- put her in a lose-lose position.

"The Sarah Palin in those interviews was a little bit annoyed," she said. "It's like, man, no matter what you say, you are going to get clobbered. If you choose to answer a question, you are going to get clobbered on the answer. If you choose to try to pivot and go to another subject that you believe that Americans want to hear about, you get clobbered for that too."

Maybe she needs to learn that you don't get to choose the questions you are asked.

Maybe she should have already learned that in school... for her degree in Communications-Journalism.

Fuckwit.

Was she so frustrated with Katie that she couldn't name a magazine either?

Jesus.

How frustrating does she imagine the job of being the President might be?

"Oh, I was just so frustrated with the U.N. that I told the generals to bomb all of them, gosh darn it!"

RedSkysays...

Poor thing, she has to answer questions politicians have to answer.

What next? They'll expect her to tie her shoelaces by herself?

Maybe she should only do interviews with Sean Hannity from now on.

It's schools. She went to five colleges to get one bachelor's degree.

They're going to make a beautiful diplomatic team: he won't talk to the PM of Spain, she can't remember even the most obvious (like being very unhappy with the Exxon Valdez Supreme Court decision 4 months ago) when she is annoyed.

She moved around so much because she was tired of getting clobbered by tests not letting her give the answers she wanted to give.

Why is this particular clip bothering me so much???? It isn't that much different than all the other crap she lays out there. Sorry. Lies. The lies she says over and over again.

Obama is DISQUALIFIED from consideration of the presidency?

She is disgusting. And a bully. And a liar.

blahpooksays...

If she can't handle Katie Couric how does she expect to handle anyone else? Is she going to forget all that "foreign experience" if some Palestinian leader starts to "annoy" her? She's making it harder for women to break that glass ceiling.

Going to get clobbered on the answer to the question? What, so you KNOW that the answer you have for a given question is not the answer that people want to hear. That you are so WRONG on all these questions that you then try to change the topic and get.. .oooh... 'clobbered' for the fact that you refuse to answer a straight question.

You pathetic woman.... pathetic.

I want to downvote for her actual response but upvote for the replies here so far. AGH, WHAT DO I DO?! I'm going to get clobbered either way!

Maybe I can pivot my way out of this by winking...

So she stands for stating things that she thinks is bad about Obama, nothing else.... nothing else

I noticed that too. It's not that McCain and her are qualified (or even more qualified) — it's that Obama is unqualified.

The scary thing is that some people might actually believe her :-S She definitely is a "Maverick" by now and the American people seem to love the underdog cliché. *cues rocky music

The fact that the media was too caught up with disassembling Palin to take a look at the candidate's actual policies might be a boon for the Republican party. If it looses it is not because of its policies, but because of "Palin/liberal media" and the stock-market crash (disaster without cause). Ready and reloaded for the next election it is?

2 party systems suck :-P

Januarisays...

God forbid this woman ends up being our president... and the Russians or Chinese or Iranians... etc... decide to play 'gotcha' diplomacy and apparently put our commander in chief into some kind of brain seizure where she is no longer able to think...

Yeah.. because i want a woman running the country who got stumped by... 'what magazines do you read'.

budzossays...

I'm starting to think the repubs have put her up because they know they're not going to win. That way they can put two old white guys up for the 2012 election and still claim to be progressive and accepting of the ol' women's lib.

Duckman33says...

Reminds me of the old John Lovits character from SNL. You know the one where he plays a pathological liar. "I was... annoyed! Yeeeeah, that's the ticket, annoyed. They annoyed me so much I couldn't concentrate, yeah that's it!"
