I have never played Mincraft, nor want to (just don't have the time for such a timesink), but that mix of lo-fi and hi-fi graphics is sublime.

yeah that rules. I feel the same way about minecraft. It's truly an artform but it's a huge waste of time. If I can get this patch though I will gladly let it take a few hours away from my life. But, alas it was just an animation so looks like I can hang onto my time.

Well that's not going to be very fun to play at 40 minutes per frame. Then again minecraft players are patient.

Hey if you guys who would like to give minecraft a try but don't have the time, I really suggest picking up Terraria. It's similar 'enough' to minecraft, but has a more strait forward approach and you don't have to dump a dozen hours into building a small village hehe. It's also a hell of a lot of fun in Co-op.

OK, OK, I shouldn't say "waste of time" I should just say "timesink". And I timesinked a lot of time into Minecraft, already - to the point that I'd feel guilty spending anymore in it without doing something more productive... or just playing other games haha.
