I Need To Meet This Man

I tried downvoting this, unfortunatley i'm not a bronze member.

I feel terrible at the fact that people are making fun of this, just watching the video i could tell this man clearly has a mental illness. Upon further reading the comments, it seems that my suspicions were true.

Come on seriously, dont vote this up and stop the jokes. You're making fun of someone's disability, it's just not right.

Clyde Cash or Clyde the Cat? Maybe his girlfriend got a cat and is also stealing his comics and now he's jealous and mad?

Did anybody understand wtf he was talking about?
And why is this in the Happy channel? It's not happy...except the first and last lines.

Oh, and he was on TV:

Edit:
I did some researching and apparently Clyde Cash sent a letter to Chris Chandler's dad telling him stuff Chris has been doing. Pretty bold move. You can read the letter in the description of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-w9EEyj12E

I can't agree with you at all.

I'm tired of people feeling like society needs to respect them or understand their differences. Should we all be this way? Kind and understanding? YES. But wake up and smell the sh*t cause it's not smelling any better.

When you place yourself in the public eye you are asking for the world to judge you, whether you want it that way or not. And I apply this to all schools of thought not just about people with certain mental disabilities. Hell I hate it when people make fun of people who go LARPing (Ex: Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!) because that actually looks like FUN to me. But do I complain about it? No!

My friend told me the other day he was at a BDSM expo and they had a Burlesque show where anyone could sign up and dance. He told me the majority of women that signed up were plus sized women. This falls into the same bracket. If you are ok with the fact that you are plus sized, mentally challenged, developmentally disabled, whatever, that is GREAT. I love the fact that people can see what society says about them and give them (society) the middle finger and not care.

But you also have to respect the fact that society ISN'T going to change its views just because you think highly of yourself. When you step up onto the stage of life (which arguably is YouTube right now) to give your "burlesque show" (internet video), the majority of that audience is just going to see something to make fun of.

I agree with you up there Darkhand, but with just a slight skewing of your reason. Not only is this guy putting himself in the public view (I don't see why people should have to hide in a cave in order to not be ridiculed) but he puts himself in the public view as an angry, "threatening", allegedly powerful person.

Any person, handicapped or not, that pretends to be powerful on the internet need to be called on it. The Icy Hot Stuntaz are no different than this guy. Tourette's guy is the same, although I'm pretty sure he's fake.

Now if this guy was being nice to someone and wishing them a happy birthday, of course we'd all be assholes for laughing at him, but this guy is asking, literally asking, for confrontation, and in a public way. Laughter is called for in this case. Because I'm pretty sure the cops aren't exactly going to be prosecuting someone out in internetland for sending letters.

I do understand the point you are making, but i think as reasonable people we ought to differentiate between the case of someone overly confident of themselves (the fat dancing women) and someone who has a scientifically diagnosed mental illness.

Laughing at the fat women dancing may deter them from doing it in the future from the shame they feel, but i doubt our ridicule is doing this fellow a favour. He reminds me of someone in elementary school, kids laughted at her antics and yet she continued to do her antics in the future because she just couldn't make the link that the other kid's laughing was AT her and her antics were socially unacceptable.

I personally think the guy is awesome.

I laughed at this the same way I laughed at the ppl in "Trekkies". It's not their nerdiness or in the case of CCW, their handicap, but their personality and their presentation. It's not a mean spirited thing, rather how fucking kickass this guy is.

I would totally hang out with him. I've watched a lot of his videos now, and the guy is super smart and has a lot of weird and interesting quirks and interests in his life.

Though this dude is autistic I think he understands that what he does is bound to generate laughter in some people. After all, autistic does not mean "retarded." In fact many autistic people are highly intelligent. I don't feel it's exploitative, also because he's making and posting these videos himself.

WOW!
Chris-Chan has made it to Videosift and become viral without him realizing it.

He is a partly autistic man-child who claims to be creator of Sonichu (Sonic and Pikachu mashup) and does lots of retarded but lulzy stuff.

All you need to know about him, you can find here

I don't you would after getting to know him a lil better.

I'm curious as to what his mind is really useful for. He may have some crazy ass equation based off the stats of pokemon battle cards and comics that will unify all theories... he's obviously able to store VAST amounts of (more totally useless than usual) information and recall it...

yet he cannot find love.

you know, this would make a great indy movie. i hope someone options his story so that he can get money for medical care and/or criminal charges he is likely to incur.
