quantumushroomsays...Wasn't expecting that at all! Thought he'd sell all the parts to buy drugs!
Boise_Libsays...Very Cool. I hope it stays in the family for many generations.
rottenseedsays...That is a beautiful bike...

That was extremely short-sighted of you.
Think how much drugs he can get with the finished bike!
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Beautiful sift.
IAmTheBlurrsays...Very few things warm my heart as much as a story like this. A machine loved dearly, passed down and restored to greatness from Father to Son.
BoneRemakesays...I HATE THAT SONG !@($
bobknight33says...Feel the love.
Yogisays...There's just something so romantic about black and white photos...the ones at the beginning were just awesome and set up the rest of the "story" nicely.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
I found this really touching. A man's love is so often channeled through the mechanical.
Opus_Moderandisays...I'll upvote for the video, not for the god awful racket that accompanies it.

Wider than you should be.
spoco2says...Father-son connection things like this get me... I was happily watching right up until that last shot of the plaque... 'For my Father, who taught me all the things I ever needed to know in life...'
That almost choked me up.
Mothers get a bum wrap in the son to parents relationship stakes. Mothers (in general) are always there, do so much, do the things day in day out that allow the kids to thrive and have a wonderful life. And then the Dads get all the glory by doing a cool science experiment on the weekend or spending some time in the shed with their boys.
It's not fair, but it is the case more often than not.
And I try my darndest to give my kids memories of building things and doing science experiments, and doing stop motion animation etc. and yet always feel like I'm not giving them quite enough.
Ahh parenting, it's a wonderful thing.

shadowncsays...Can't believe people are hating on the song. I liked Pearl Jam's first album and then pretty much nothing after that. But, I absolutely love this song.

MaxWildersays...I despise Pearl Jam as a rule, but this is one of their least despicable songs.
And the restoration of the bike was kinda cool.
Raaaghsays...I swore that last shot was going to be of him having tipped over on the road.
