eric3579says...Takes a reporter on television news to try and get a bit of justice for a citizen who has been abused by cops and the american justice system.
Engelssays...This is pretty old news. I wonder why its reemerging now.
MrFisksays...*controversy
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Controversy) - requested by MrFisk.
newtboysays...It seems to me she may have a great case against the state for false arrest amongst other things. I hope someone convinces her to sue.
I would hope all involved have lost their jobs by now, including the 'judge' that watched her cop make up law and falsely arrest his accuser. I also hope that intentionally not reporting an accusation of sexual assault by an officer to I.A. (or anywhere else) is a felony, and the entire office/department goes to jail for the cover up(s). That's the only way to indicate to others that this behavior is not tolerable. Anything less is tantamount to acceptance in my eyes.
ChaosEnginesays...Ok, WTF is a "hearing master"? Is that some kind of judge? Surely, they must have some legal qualification in order to preside over what is presumably a custody hearing? How are they not in trouble for this?
As for the marshall, "fired" is not good enough. He should be charged. Now, in his defence, we have no evidence other than the womans testimony, so he might be innocent, but that's why he gets a trial.
And the other guy (a bailiff?) should be fired too.
Fletchsays...Amazing. Yet more piece-of-shit cops and a cowardly judge (or whatever she is) firmly behind that blue wall. Rights violated by the accused pervert by forcing the woman to recant in the face of arrest, and a fucking judge sits there and ignores it. Absolutely amazing, but not surprising (if that makes sense). Cops are lying sacks of shit and judges protect and give the benefit of a doubt to these fuckers in courts all over this country. God, I hate cops.
eric3579says...Amen!

VoodooVsays...wtf...that's some shitty blurring tech. Anyone who even remotely knows this woman would know who she is. They don't distort the voice, the blurring is trivial and then you can see the unblurred face just a few minutes earlier...what...the..fuck.
nocksays...They said her name a lot...I'm not sure what kind of anonymity she's looking for.

ChaosEnginesays...FTFY.
There are plenty of decent hard-working cops all round the world doing a tough job for low pay, and scumbags like this guy give the rest a bad name.
Some cops are lying sacks of shit and judges protect and give the benefit of a doubt to these fuckers in courts all over this country. God, I hate some cops.
chingalerasays...Yeah man, the friends of the men in blue haven't a clue-It's a good ol' boy club that stretches way back into the bowels of the worst of what America has to offer-Known plenty of ex-cops who saw the beast and scrambled...They're called humane, have ethics instilled through a healthy childhood, etc. People who want to be cops fit a profile and for the majority of these, it's developmental disability fueled with wrong-livelihood. The profession has a history, most of her employees, damaged.
Compare cop-world to recidivism as the result of the prison system in the U.S., and you have the trained predator grooming humans for insertion of larvae....Self-perpetuating horseshit, people should police themselves and their own communities.
lantern53says...There are millions of interactions each day between cops and citizens. How many of them go wrong? This guy got fired, fortunately. But the anarchists who troll here love to imagine this happens every second.
Kofisays...Arrested for false allegations? Surely that has to be after the result of an enquiry as to the truth of the allegations, no?
How could either the court cop or the judge just sit there and accept something that is internally invalid and self-evidently fallacious? Fucking insane!
charliemsays...Jeezus christ. Wow. Under arrest for being sexually assaulted.......woooowwww.
Sue the FUCK out of EVERYONE in that room.
mxxconjokingly says...She was asking for it.
scheherazadesays...These people know each other in a personal basis.
They work together, they go to the work christmas party together, they go to each other's barbecues, parties, etc. They have either sympathy for one another, or they know that they have to work amongst each other in the future.
When you come into a courthouse, you are a stranger. Your very existence is irrelevant to them. This is the first time they've ever seen you, and they will likely never see you again. What happens to you is no more important to them than what happens to a run over squirrel.
So when one end of an argument involves someone in law enforcement, and the other end is you... guess who is gonna be the loser?
And given the policy of judicial immunity, it's not like a judge can face any consequences for their abuses either.

ChaosEnginesays...Sweet, so when I kick you in the nuts, you don't need to cry over it because you weren't murdered.

illuviosays...There is no way the judge could have been unaware of the woman pleading at her as she was being (wrongfully?) arrested.
As the highest authority figure in the situation the Marshall would look to the judge for reprimand.
Finding none the marshall would be tacitly approved of his actions and he could continue with his (allegedly) self serving, power abusing actions.
Seeing nothing awry the state cop (or whatever he was) would assume the chain of command was correct in its commands and he arrested the woman.
The true villain in this video is the Judge, turning her back to ignore what must certainly have been at least circumspect behavior, the disgusting part being that the judge is using the accused's own daughter as an excuse for gross negligence in a privileged role.
rychansays...Just in case people are wondering, because this is quite old, the officer was fired, and his supervisor took a demotion.
chingalerasays...And the so-called judge....She's still on her little bench?
"I do not plead in the court of contracts."
Just in case people are wondering, because this is quite old, the officer was fired, and his supervisor took a demotion.
bobknight33says...Disgusting. The courts are to serve justice and the judge just turned away.
scheherazadesays...Well... yes.
I'm too old to cry from a nut shot, and I'm fairly certain I would cry when faced with imminent death.
But that's beside the point.
Which was simply that this kind of event is the tip of the ice berg.

Sweet, so when I kick you in the nuts, you don't need to cry over it because you weren't murdered.
eric3579says...Now if you would have originally said "this kind of event is the tip of the ice berg". That sounds reasonable ,but what you said to someone who expressed there being saddened by the situation is "This is hardly worth crying over. She got felt up. There are girls that were raped". That my friend makes you look insensitive, and lacking in empathy. Which in my book is not very cool.

scheherazadesays...I put it in perspective. That's all.
Sorry if it came off rude. My apologies.

poolcleanersays...You know, every time I want to not say fuck the police, I'm proven wrong. Both from personal experience and from the attention brought to these authority abusers by others. GG
