I have a good story for that comment.
My wife and I went to Iceland (I went to a formula offroad event while there!) a while back, and one B&B host told us that for years they sent videos of Formula Offroad to SkyTV (the European version of ESPN) with no response. Eventually they got through to someone to ask why, and were told “SkyTV doesn’t broadcast remote control cars”….yes, for over a decade they assumed no human would drive like that and it must be RC cars! When they proved it was real full size cars with real live drivers, it was immediately put on air and has been popular ever since.
Good stuff.

The 29-year-old worship director from Oakwood Church in Augusta Township, Michigan, Zachary Joseph Radcliffe, faces 11 felony counts with charges dating back a decade. He was arraigned two weeks ago on two counts of aggravated child, sexually abusive activity, two counts of child sexually abusive activity, and six counts of using the internet to communicate with another to commit a crime, he could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted. The charges stem from incidents as early as 2014, according to court records.
Odd that it always seems to be the maga pastors and leaders with child rape and kiddie porn cases sticking, don’t you think? Tariffs don’t stimulate economies, they stifle them and start trade wars that are always losers for consumers, they add a national sales tax to any tariffed imports, and the countries targeted always reciprocate making it hard or impossible to compete on the international markets and hurting American companies.
Our last Trump tariff/trade war with China was a horrific failure costing hundreds of billions of dollars, hurting American farmers (had to bail them out for $50 billion more and thousands closed shop), manufacturing, supply lines, and consumers…all for absolutely nothing gained.
Get ready for round 2 to feel like Glass Joe was replaced with Tyson…up to 200% tariffs across the board are going to absolutely destroy the economy in extremely short order.

You are partly correct, when he gets into office, the numbers will have already plummeted….
…plummeted because businesses are reeling from the implications of his stated plans (like up to 200% tariffs, and killing the ACA and putting all healthcare costs back on employers and the resulting loss of work) and have started cutting workforces drastically, stopped hiring, and are halting bonuses and promotions so they can afford to buy all of next years stock before Jan 21 when it will cost significantly more. Others are preparing to close because they work in multiple countries, shipping back and forth during production, and tariffs of any size are going to kill their businesses, so better to get out before they’re forced out and broke.

The major economic downturn started Nov 5th. and is accelerating.
