Why were they pulled over?

Stopped for Seat belt violation. As far as i can tell they wouldn't get out of the car when asked to. Passenger did nothing as far as i can tell. He gave them id from what it seems when they asked.

The courts have ruled that police officers can order all passengers out of a vehicle during a traffic stop.

You don't know if there is a wanted person indicated on the vehicle registration because this video only shows one side.

I would advise you to get out of the car if ordered and you can avoid all of this unpleasantness.

Perhaps, but they have not ordered that you can search them all without cause, or question them, only put them where you can see their actions for safety.
Your second sentence does not make sense. If you have no reason to believe the passenger is a criminal (and not knowing is not a reason to believe they are) you have no right to manhandle them, question them, search them, or detain them.
This is always your advice, just bend over and take it up the ass, and don't expect a reach around or a 'thank you'. If a cop stopped you, you must be a piece of shit criminal that deserves the inhuman treatment you will get.
My suggestion is to respond with "am I under arrest" and "am I free to leave" and NOTHING else...and to have it all on tape so the officers can't just lie about what happened, which they tend to do if they can't be irrefutably disputed (and even when it can).

It's getting to the point where there's MORE than one of these videos per day. It's even worse when you consider most of them seem to involve 'people of color', apparently targeted for their skin color. Have the police suddenly become a wing of the KKK? If not, what the hell is going on? It can't ALL be because there's more cameras today (one excuse I've heard), that's been the case for a while now and is not a sudden change, but this rash of violent cop videos is.

I'm sure those kids will grow up with a healthy attitude to the police and the state and nothing horrible will happen in the next generation.

Because the courts have ruled that you have the RIGHT to be an uncaring, unthinking, smarmy, lying asshole does not mean you HAVE to be one....or do you support the Westborough Baptists fully and wholeheartedly, because the courts have said they can be insane outrageous assholes too, and the rest of us are suckers for not following suit?

Or are you stating that cops NEVER recover people's stolen property? That I could almost believe, but I think they do recover a tiny percentage...maybe <5%.
