Looks like hella fun. Seems like the pilot is maybe flying the plane into the fireworks rather than a shootdown but whatever, what better way to train a generation of domestic terrorists/freedom fighters for the coming conflagration.

Sweet! Would be cool if the sensors displayed on the video were functioning. It looks like it has a GPS, and maybe yaw, pitch, roll, airspeed, etc. Nice little spy plane there. I wonder if the owner's controller has a real-time video feed on it.

They might be remembering that he was launching "Saturn Missle" fireworks from it on the 4th of July.
If you go to the linked website, what's really amazing about the setup is that he's got that camera rigged to a video headset so he gets a first person perspective as he's flying.

There are head-tracking rigs for "FPV" hobbyists, but I believe this one is manually controlled for left\right panning.
