I love how at the end he zooms away under power for like 200 yards and then we see the goose gas himself out beyond striking range. That's one pissed off goose! Oh and I love Labs. Such nice lil' doogies.

It's not often you get to see a good First Person Goose Choker (FPGC) film. Kudos.
...And was anyone else reminded of the T-1000 chasing the car in Terminator 2?

Ha ha ha, totally.

Geese are horrible creatures. The only animal I really dislike. I had a long running battle with one bastard on a farm where i lived. every time i came in for work this fucker would start hissing and flapping at me. this got extremely irritating after a couple of weeks.

When Christmas came around I kept dropping hints about how cruelly christmas turkeys are treated... and how delicious geese are.

Still, the bastard was still going strong when i left.

In my experience, Canadian geese are always this pissed off. Some years ago one of them went after a friend of mine while he was sitting in his car with the windows down. His solution was to punch the thing in the head. It backed down a little after that.

hehehe, maaaan that would have been one dead goose if he nipped at my dog. Hes become a little tame in his years now but, hes an american bulldog, and hell take a bite if he dosnt like it.

Nice example to about how resilient the neck of a goose is. One of the reasons hunting geese is a PITA, you use buck shot, but you dont want to hit the chest otherwise youll be picking pieces of led/metal out of your meal. So you have to try and break its neck with a shot. Easier said then done.

I'm fascinated by how the bird was so fixated on the dog that it completely ignored the human that had his hands wrapped around its neck. Yes geese can be mean, and I've seen them go after little kids before, but to just plain ignore a human that clearly could kill it at any second? That's nuts. Can geese get rabies? Or some form of mad bird disease? I don't know how else to explain that behavior. Maybe * eia?

Yeesh. That guy was a lot nicer to the goose than I would have been. Second or third time it went for my dog, I would have been swinging it around by the neck and bashing it into things. After that, let's just say that I'd probably want to break out the rotisserie.

What a panzy dog. Did you see the hair in the birds mouth that it ripped off that dog? Come on Gabby defend yourself. Ive been attacked by those before by just walking to close to the water. Very territorial. Swans are worse, one bit the tip of my brothers finger off when it attacked. I got a stick and tried to beat it away then the cops came to try and arrest me for animal cruelty while my brother was looking for the rest of his fucking finger. Damn birds
