bjornenlindasays...What's the stuff in the bowl?
oritteroposays...Probably the standard herbs and spices for Indian cooking, similar to this recipe - http://www.sailusfood.com/2012/11/18/masala-omelette-recipe-breakfast-india/
I would guess at a minimum salt, pepper, coriander leaves, chopped green chilli, maybe some spices, and maybe some shallots.

mxxconsays...That cook looked very concerned

luxury_piesays...Can anybody explain to me what is so special about this video?
Did I miss something? Is it something special because he is foreign? Or because he has a lot of eggs? Fire? Toast?
Help me out please.
Esoogsays...I wish I could, but Im as confused as you are. Its not fast, nor interesting.

Quadrophonicsays...Is there a special way to make this video enjoyable? I feel like I just wasted a minute of my life...
griefer_queafersays...Well, to be totally honest I did not imagine this would make it to the top 15 lol. The reason I thought it was siftable was because he is actually quite fast. I mean, its not some eye-popping speed, and he's not even trying, but that's part of what makes it interesting. This is just an "everyday" speed for these guys, and yet few of us probably imagined that an omlette sandwich could be made so quickly. But beyond that, and I hope this is not just me trying to intellectualize it, I would say that I like the surreal quality of the video (the guy's strange paranoia [or whatever] about the camera, the amount of eggs, and the sounds)... its all just very strange and fun. Like a little uncanny slice of life. I guess part of that depends on my NOT being Indian, but I dunno, that's my take.

oritteroposays...Maybe we all upvoted because we were hungry? I was certainly tempted to cook myself an omelette sandwich after watching this.

Retroboysays...I upvoted because I like EGGSES.
And the whachutalkinboutWillis expression on the cook's face.
But mostly for the EGGSES.
YESSSSSSSSS
luxury_piesays...Now I upvoted for the comments, damn you people.
OverLordsays...I thought this was a pisstake on the other vid's that get posted with people cooking things super fast in other countries? Cause he ain't that fast.
gharksays..."Man cooking at regular speed" wins award for best facial expression in the "Indian man making omelets at regular speed in a road-side stall at night" category. There was 1 entry this year and it won by a landslide.
Gilsunsays...All valid points Griefer. Purhaps just a misleading title then.

gwiz665says...Well shit, now I'm hungry for eggs...
lucky760says...I'm totally on board with all the dissenters.
Totally boring slow cooking of an uninteresting dish. The only interesting part is the way the creepy cook is eye-balling the camera.
In the interest of maintaining online video *quality control, I'm inclined to down-vote, but I don't want to cause any hurt feelings, so I'm just down-voting in spirit...
Did you feel it?
siftbotsays...lucky760 spiritually down-voted this video in principle.
cluhlenbraucksays...lol this is nothing. I use to break 2 eggs at once. I was expecting some crazy insane video.
waste of time
Mobiussays...@everyone
Now if you all would be so kind as to be dick heads in all the other unfit sifts that garner muchos upvotes. at least this guy did something constructive posting this, I watched someone break a mirror the other day. Now that was a quality sift.
oohlalasassoonsays...You looked into the camera - CUT!!
chingalerasays...Yo man-Cooking eggs is exciting as hell, as evidenced in that 9-minute video of myself cooking huevos rancheros
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
I'd like to offer a dissenting view to the prevailing one - I liked this. The darkness, the guys surrounded by mountains of eggs, the stoic way they are prepared. A+++ would vote again.
Mobiussays...Just not proper to have Eggs without some Bacon :
eric3579says...I LIKED ALL THE EGGS!!
gorillamansays...So nobody likes this video but nobody downvotes it? You're all a bunch of pussies. *click*
If this had a different title maybe things would have gone differently, but I came here looking for fast eggs with three exclamation points and what I got was moderately-paced eggs with no exclamation points and now I feel hurt and lied to.
kymbossays...Most interesting sift and comment thread I've seen in ages.
I especially like the concept that watching this video 'wasted my time' when wasting time is precisely what every one of us is doing right now.
Compelling viewing, a veritable tour de force! I give it four and a half stars, Margaret.
