NordlichReitersays...that is creepy. The creationists are gonna go crazy over that one!
honkeytonk73says...This proves Dinosaurs were on Noah's ark... along with the Mastodons. Umm. Yeah. Really.
LOL
**This would freak my 3 year old son out.
Sagemindsays...This is actually, very amazing...!
atarasays...That is a sweet costume.
thinker247says...It doesn't have a saddle on it, so they won't think it's real.

Whitesays...what is that? it looks to real to be animatronic or a costume, but not real enough to be anything more than special effects. its awesome either way. very intriguing at any rate.
elyssesays...White: look at the legs.
Paybacksays...There's a whole stage show with everything up to TRex...

blankfistsays...Look children, carnivorous species can be your friends; just let them smell you!
bamdrewsays...they should have a few more at the end of the hall, feasting...
Whitesays...oh i didn't even notice that. thanks E.
AnimalsForCrackerssays...I like the cameraman's (I'm assuming) response. "Go on, eat one. Heh heh heh, just one?" I'm also wondering if it's a robot, or just animatronics combined with a person suit. I wouldn't mind having that as a job. I used to pretend I was a carnivorous dinosaur all the time to scare my little sisters, so I got like, lot's of experience and stuff.
Edit: Ohhhhhhhhh....read the comments. Not a robot.
NetRunnersays...Is it me, or do those dinosaurs have fur on their backs?
Is that what paleontologists are saying now, that Velociraptors were furry?
phelixiansays...^netrunner I think they say more like feathers or feather like fur.
blankfistsays...^Or pubic hair. Scientist are saying dinosaurs were covered head to toe with pubic hair. It's true. You cannot dispute science.
Pushkillsays...yeah they think dino's had either fur or feathers, which makes sense. And yes look at the legs, you can see the puppeteers legs.
videosiftbannedmesays...That is so badass. I wonder how much it would cost to make that.
spoco2says...That is an awesome outfit, one would imagine you might get uber tired in there with that huge neck coming out the front.
And yeah, that'd freak my kids out completely...
Xaxsays...LOL, what a great way to scare the shit out of your kids. Pretty damn cool.
poolcleanersays...Is it just me or would it be an even cooler video if the dinosaurs ate the tourists?
MarineGunrocksays...I would think that something that large would have structural support through the dino legs to the floor... it wouldn't take much to make the operator tired in that thing.
ponceleonsays...Screw the bear cavalry, where's the T-rex cavalry?
Edit: on second viewing, that kid in the stroller at the beginning of the video is officially scarred for life. The mom is trying to show him that it is "friendly" and is just sniffing her hand, but the kid's arms are up in a instinctively defensive position and you can tell he is just terrified... awesome! hehe...
In all seriousness, I'm really thrown by how realistic it looks for a puppet. I'd love to see a higher-quality video of it... anyone have a link to one?
MrConradssays...If I were the one in the suit I would just poop on the floor, like a real dinosaur!
AeroMechanicalsays...When I was a kid, they had this exhibit called "Dinosaurs Alive!" that had animatronic dinosaurs. I was really excited to see it. It was a terrible disappointment though, just dinosaurs who's necks would move on one plain in a very robotic, jerky motion. It probably cost a ton. Funny that this costume, that's probably just mechanical--the equivalent of Snufflopogus or Big Bird--is several orders of magnitude cooler, probably cheaper too.
MrFisksays...So, burger or burrito?
kronosposeidonsays...And yet they only pay me minimum wage to wear that thing. Still, the shrieks of terrified little children makes it all worthwhile.
Peroxidesays...Fuck Dinosaurs I want Wall-E to sniff my hand!
deathcowsays...I bet this new variety of dinosaur has enhanced flammability and reacts much the same way as the old variety of dinosaur when ignited.
MycroftHomlzsays...Greatest Halloween Costume Ever.
jwraysays...With plastic or composites a costume that size wouldn't be too heavy for a person to carry. But maybe the second set of legs is spring-loaded to take some of the weight off of the person.
deathcowsays...jwray.. think midget stacking technology... perhaps a new line of carbon fiber connectors for joining midgets together
MarineGunrocksays...No, I think plastics anything would be too heavy. Lots of foam and latex.
12058says...I love how you can see the dude's legs underneath it.
deathcowsays...If this thing is roughly correct in scale, I can tell you if I am ever attacked by a dinosaur I am shooting for the kneecaps.
Deanosays...Weird, it's only on the second viewing that I saw the guy's legs. Great effect, you really buy it.
They now need to have a second one and stage a fight
12476says...Next time I go to the museum I'm bringing steaks... Here Boy! Who wants a treat?!
budzossays...Too cool.
