Honestly I hadn't realized it but I think you're right. I mean how could anyone who speaks english record that VO with a straight face?! The uncanny valley is a lot less deep on the voice side I guess.

It's a Japanese company, and VO is by a Japanese person. You can hear a slight hint of an accent.
