Inebriated base jumper?

Holy shit, if he gets his arms or legs tangled in that thing as he flips over, the chute never opens and he's dead. I'm all for the adrenaline from a jump, but doing it that way is a death wish.

That 10 seconds of fun was like totally worth it, man. Clearly he's a long-term thinker.

I think the interaction between the police officer and the base jumper was pretty remarkable, considering how often in my own life I've been given tons of bad attitude for simply doing something the officer didn't like. Kudos to the cop for being professional and kudos to the jumper for not being a jerk. (disobedience notwithstanding)
