BSRI hope they give Bill and Ted another shot at that cat.
eric3579My mid twenties year old self really enjoyed the original, but I can't be the only one that thinks this trailer looks really bad. Not any funny in the entire trailer...imo.
(edit) i think in the original, Bill and Ted were exaggerations of a group of young people who actually spoke and acted like that. Today you would be hard pressed to find anyone acting like that, especially at the age they are portraying.
newtboyWithout Carlin, this looks like a sad, uninspired cash grab from an old, should be left to rest franchise.
I just cannot imagine this being good. Those who remember it nostalgicly are too old now for the infantile humor, and those the right age group have no connection with the story world, characters, or 80's references.
Hollywood, please quit with the rotten memberberry sauce on everything.
StukaFoxsays...Disney is doing a live-action remake of Robin Hood. I foresee "Cats"-level awfulness, followed by a cacophony of Furries wailing like the damned.
On the other hand, if you've ever wanted a to score with a real Maid Marion, here comes your chance!
ZawashWhoah.
mramsays...I love Carlin, but he's not pivotal to any Bill and Ted story. It just suited him.
And I don't care about why this movie was made. I don't care that it's dated, I don't care that it looks forced. It's exactly the kind of silly humor I need right now, and like it's been said elsewhere, this might drag me out of my house to see in the theatre. Regardless, I'd pay to see it.
Original writers = check.
Dean Parisot = Respect!
LukinStoneCool. This has been in development for a while, at least, I heard about the script years ago. I think the two previous movies were both interesting. And, the sequel really did a good job of not rehashing the same ground as Excellent Adventure. We'll see, like anything nowadays, may suck hard but I'll give it a chance.
