fissionchipsShe really seems sad to be breaking the news to us.
How many of you knew most of this beforehand, and still eat junk food? [raises hand]
kronosposeidon^fissionschips: With a user name like yours I just assumed it was a given.
jmzerosays...The only real interesting, non-obvious food she lists is canned soup - and her main complaint is with sodium. While sodium (or nitrates, which she mentions later) may be problems for some people, they're hardly the dietary concern most people should be focusing on (which is, for most people, macro-nutrient balance). That being the case, I'd say that soup is probably a better choice (again, for most people) than the likely lunchtime replacements: bagels, most sandwiches, or rice, pasta, or potato dishes.
If someone is worried about sodium, get a low sodium soup (of which there are plenty) - at least with a soup you're getting some nutritional variety. I'd also differ with her on fried catfish. Sure it's not perfect, but again it's at least some nutritional variety and has some balance in macro-nutrients (most people could use more protein/less carbs).
deathcowdid she do a 10 best video? hmmm... oatmeal.. salmon... yams... green vegetables.... lean meats... brown rice... potatoes... fresh fruit... eat only the best foods and watch your body transform in weeks
wazantA generally decent vid, if not a bit obvious. But she hurts her credibility a little bit right up front by asserting that MSG is a preservative. It is actually a flavor enhancer, which stimulates the fifth "deliciousness" taste--also called "Umami" (a relatively recent addition to the traditional sour, bitter, salt and sweet tastes).
FadeIsn't msg a type of salt? And as such is usable as a preservative?
Poposays...hahaha,MSG a preservative? FAIL!
Actually, I use MSG to cut down on salt without sacrificing flavor.
deedub81I'm surprised this isn't in there
xxovercastxx"I like to refer to bacon as 'fried salt and fat'"
I like to refer to bacon as 'food of the gods'. It's what they eat on Mount Olympus. Bacon and ambrosia all day, every day.
dystopianfuturetodayShe looks like she could use a hamburger or two....
Rugilsays...This would be totally uninteresting to me if she wasn't so damn hot.
smibbo1. canned soup is available with little or no salt and most don't have any MSG
2. MSG is not a preservative
3. the only known problem with MSG is allergies, which not everyone has
4. if she'd actually read the ingrediant listing on most bags of unflavored potato chips she would have amended her statement to "flavored chips"
5. since when was soda a food? I agree its one of the worst possible consumables around but its still not a food
smibbobut I'll upvote just because she warns against the evil that is soda pop
southblvd10. Good thing for me I don't like fish
9. I've cut that out of my diet
8. Never really liked it
7. 5 Guys?
6. Cut them out of my diet
5. Never really liked them either
4. Damnit!
3. I think I'm alright. 5 Guys?
2. Rarely eat them
1. Try not to have it that much. Tea, please
I think I'm only listening to her because she sure is cute. She'd be a pain to date, though. "Oh, you're going to eat that? You know it has lots of blah blah blah..."
southblvddid she do a 10 best video?
Top 10 Best Foods - Nutrition by Natalie

9169What? food? I just watched the whole video because she's gorgeous!
wax66What? food? I just watched the whole video because she's gorgeous!
I wouldn't kick her out of bed for drinking soda.
EklekUpvote for cloudy background. Wonder why she chose this picture, considering the message..
My message would be:
-avoid warm food for breakfast/lunch
-avoid fried food, when you want to prepare it -use fresh healthy oil
-eat whole wheat bread for breakfast/lunch (bake it yourself to avoid the additives)
-cut down your amount (100 gr./person is just fine) and frequency of (fish)meat for dinner and often replace it with cheese/eggs/soya-products/beans/nuts
-eat your daily fruit&veggies (veggies unlimited, not too many fruit because of fructose)
-avoid salt, sugar, bad fat, msg (vetsin) and other additives that are part of the nutritionism hype.
-take good fat (e.g. extra virgine olive oil)
-drink tea/water
blankfistShe gets an upvote for being easy on the eyes. Yeah, I'm that simple. She does look better, however, when she's giving you the top ten best foods (see southblvd's comment above). And, what is it with our fascination with lists? God, I fucking love them! Top ten anything, bring it on!
SketchHippie.
budzosThis chick is hot, plus you know she's gonna stay in shape.
honkeytonk73Can I eat her?
antonyeWhiny Whiny Voice Woman! Won't somebody please make it stop?!?
jimnmsShe is wrong about catfish. Sure, wild catfish that you catch in a river may be bad for you (and probably taste like crap), but catfish that you buy in a grocery store and eat at restaurants are farm raised, high in protein and when not fried are not bad for you.
grinterWow that Jack n' The Box Ultimate Cheeseburger is the mark of edible efficiency. Two of those a day and you are all set.
They should take them into space or something!
bamdrewwell said jimnms; she has to over-simplify, but many details (like farm raised catfish) are thrown away.
pmkierstsays...Sure is lots of bad info in there.
www72says...Well, you gotta die of something...
AbductedSince when is fish unhealthy? Salmon at least contains omega fats, good for your brains.
Hexexcelent video
rottenseedI suppose if we all get off of our asses every now and then I'm sure there'll be a lot less "issues" with eating a couple strips of bacon.
9191To Eklek: who has time to bake their own bread?
Eklek^the bread baking Machine

will save you time
gorillamanI was expecting this to end with 2 girls 1 cup.
deathcowMuch fish is good food, period. Lean proteins with healthy essential fats.
therealblankmanJust another religious zealot who thinks that she has all the answers. Perfectly fits the maxim that "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
jwraypotatoes = fail
top 10 would be
1. milk
2. hummus
3. guacamole (made from avocados, garlic, onions, tomato, lemon, and a bit of salt ONLY -- nothing else)
4. chicken
5. whole-grain pasta
6. salmon or tuna
7. bananas
8. supreme pizza in moderation
9. veggie stir-frys
10. canned soup (with potassium instead of sodium)

So that's why the gods are dead!
