That would be the title if she was a Harry Potter book. Thanks and congratulations to Persephone on attaining her golden star.


Some of you may already know that Persephone is, in fact my wife. I like to think that she is a model for Sift interactions, because if an atheist like me and a highly spiritual person like Perse can get along (and get it on) can't we all? ;-)

Thanks everybody. It's an honour to be a part of this great community.

It took me a while to warm to the sift. I initially saw it as Dag's hobby. I was surprised to see it grow so quickly and take on a life of its own.

We've always been interested in becoming a part of a community. We've looked at joining an intentional community and an eco-village in the last 5 years.

I think we held back from joining such communities because we were afraid of the issues that arise from having to live so cooperatively and closely with others.

Maybe we lacked the confidence to be skilful negotiators. Anyhow, I think the sift has been a great opportunity for us to practise this.

I'm really proud of Dag's diplomacy skills. It must have been the International Relations degree that got him on the right path. I think I probably lack in this area, but hope that in trying to offer a different perspective, help achieve some kind of balance in the line of thought.

No, he forgot to log out on MY laptop and I didn't realise I left the last comment logged in as him. It happens all the time. If you see a blank comment under his profile, it means he went back and erased whatever I said. I think he'd rather die than be credited with a lot of my comments.
