How are you going to follow the election on election day?
Not being from the US I`ve been tuning in to CNN Live online for the debates. Ive been happy with CNN for most of the time, but maybe theres a better station for watching the grand finale. Anyone got a suggestion? My only criteria is that it be as objective as possible.

Fox News.. it's both fair and balanced.
wow, doesnt get much better than that !
I'll be drinking heavily to drown my sorrows when they proclaim Barack Hussein Obama the winner and our country goes to Hades in a handbasket.
But at least I'll get the information from Fox News, which will soften the blow.
What a coincidence, I will be drinking heavily also, in celebration of the glorious victory of the Obaminator!
I'll be sacrificing chickens, burning incense, sticking pins in a McCain doll and chanting until the results are in.
mildly stoned.
I'll be praying to Jesus all day long that McCain wins, because Jesus never listens to me.
I'll be streaming MSNBC onto a big screen TV, with friends and food. PAR-TAY.
CSPAN or PBS are the most objective sources, but I doubt you can get them outside the US. CNN is probably your best bet.
Oh, and check this out. Palin pranked bad by French Canadians. http://www.videosift.com/video/Pranked-Palin

I'm doing something w/ the kids on it. They are coloring the map blue and red and tallying up the electorial votes. Drinking will be after the polls are closed
In between the immolations I'll be here as well

Its a date. Im going to get some whiskey. One drink per undefined unit of Obama ownage. Ah what the hell, I`ll just be drinking all the time. I havent been this excited about an election since .... ever !
If you want maximum objectivity, go for C-SPAN coverage, or PBS.
I'm going to be sitting at my computer, TV nearby with MSNBC on, and my web browser open to: VideoSift, Daily Kos, Talking Points Memo, Huffington Post Fivethirtyeight.com, CNN's election results page, and YouTube.
I'll be switching over to the Comedy Central election coverage at 10pm, and back to the real thing if it's still not decided by then (and I doubt it would be).
I'll have champagne on ice for victory, and whiskey nearby for sorrow-drowning.
I'll try to do a little armchair electoral math, Chuck Todd style as the night goes on, as I'm sure every network/site will.
One preview though:
2000 it was Florida, Florida, Florida
2004 it was Ohio, Ohio, Ohio
2008 it will be Virginia, Virginia, Virginia
Also keep an eye on the Senate races in Minnesota, Kentucky, and Georgia.

And then I'll vote.
Follow CBC News from Canada,
or ABC News from Australia,
or BBC News from Britain,
It's neat how that works out.
