Goodbye Stitched Fabric Background and Good Riddance!
Good news, Sifters: As you may have already noticed, we've [finally] dropped the cloth background pattern of every VideoSift page that arrived with v5.0. There were always reports of difficulty with reading in v5, so we made a lot of changes to the text (making it larger and darker).
To be honest, it never really occurred to us to just drop the background image altogether, but @oritteropo made the suggestion today and it seemed like a very good idea, so good riddance.
We sincerely hope this is to your liking.

Great suggestion @oritteropo!
It does look better. I welcome this change.

Oh yeah it is - I used to sing it that way to myself as a little parody ... Sometimes I think I spend too much time in my head.

Both black and white looks much better now, much easier on the eyes. Wasn't this suggested way back when it was introduced as well? I remember bitching about the stitching, but that may just have been in a hangout or something.
Much better! Thanks!
