Amazing clip, but it totally reinforces my belief that those pilots are complete fools. Maneuvers like that should only take place at an altitude of "three mistakes" or more.

I -would- say such races should not exist, but they clearly place no value on their own lives, so who am I to argue otherwise.

The air from the propeller and only the very tip of the right wing hit the water. The body of the plane had no contact at all. This was amazing skill, with the luck being, by far, the lesser quality. Is everybody on this website a giant pussy?

The reason he just flew upwards after the save, was that he was very occupied crapping his pants repeatedly - and with his huge balls, there's not much room there.

I upvote your witticism, and realize it as such.

Getting some altitude and away from the crowds is just sound policy after physical contact. If he had to bail, he needs altitude for the chute and he wants the plane to miss anything important.
